HIDE's Most Surprising Experience
HIDE's hair was done before a LIVE show, and HIDE's hairstyle at the time was to have every strand of hair standing up. But we ran out of the special hair spray, so we had to find another spray instead. Since it wasn't the special kind, it took longer. HIDE was bored and started smoking. While the make-up artist was spraying a piece of gas at HIDE, HIDE took a drag on his cigarette and it went off with a bang. When Toshi next door heard the noise, he came over to take a look and saw a black smoke, but he couldn't see HIDE's shadow at all. Waiting for the black smoke to dissipate, only to see HIDE is still sitting peacefully on the chair, mouth holding a cigarette, expressionless, said "Alas, is not a special thing is not ah ~ ~ ~ ~"
yo's secret one
In the concert in the concert in the intervals, jyouji and Momotaro has been sleeping. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door of their room, and waking up, jyouji got up and opened the door, not knowing what was going on. A drunken Y yelled "Why are you sleeping!" and rushed into the room. He rushed into the room and flipped up the two beds in the room. Note that the beds were up on the floor. Then, yelling, "Ignore me, I'm going to jump to my death!!!" When he opened the window and jumped, Momotaro and the others, who had been drinking a lot, suddenly sobered up. Shouting: "Don't let go." And they held on to his feet as he jumped. Later, turning the bed up became one of his favorite tricks.
yo playing with fire
Once NHK recorded X's program, HIDE first recorded and went to drink YOSHIKI and TOSHI have to continue to record. After drinking for a while, HIDE suddenly wanted to go back, said YOSHIKI will be shocked, so rushed back. Later, HIDE said he had never run so fast before. STAFF were standing far away, looking at someone climbing the railing. He was playing with fire. STAFF see HIDE, are like to see the savior, begging HIDE let him stop. HIDE shook his head and said I do not want to be burned to death. HIDE shook his head and said, "I don't want to be burned to death."
Yo Hooligan
Japan's Yamanote Line is one of the most crowded lines in Japan.
The group left for the train home from Shibuya in the middle of the morning at 7:00 a.m., and by the time PATA got home, it was 4:00 p.m.
The train was the most crowded line in Japan, and it was the most crowded line in the world. What was the reason for this - the older man fell asleep while sitting in the train. However, when it came to this, he argued, "I fell asleep sitting up anyway! At least I didn't cause any trouble. But the drummer of a band, Yoshiki, was sleeping on the Yamashiro line during rush hour, lying on his back in the seat! What an outrageous guy!" ...... has absolutely nothing to do with rush hour or not, the seats around YOSHIKI were all empty and no one dared to take them at all.
yo messy clothes chapter
95 years, a LIVESHOW before, see a person in the background wearing a dragging clothes, move around, a look is actually YOSHIKI. original he wore HIDE's performance clothes, is everyone has not seen ...... translucent yarn! There are a lot of transparent things like glow sticks on it. At first, yoshiki kept staring at the dress, wanting to touch it but afraid of the look, eventually could not resist touching it, and then, finally could not stop, put it on, proudly in the backstage waving around, very curious look. I've seen hide standing in the back corner, looking at him, a look to kill expression and very funny look.
Curry rice event
94 or 95 years of time, livetour, yoshiki has been working for several days, and several days did not eat anything. STAFF really can not stand to see, asked him what he would like to eat, this pig wanted half a day, said he wanted to eat vegetable curry rice. STAFF think this is easy, so let him the next day to go. The next day, only to see yoshiki happy and jumping to eat curry. He cried after just one bite, and STAFF was dumbfounded as to what was wrong. It turns out that the curry rice is not a leafy vegetable, and spicy
This does not matter, yoshiki cried and screamed, yelling: you let me eat a good curry rice can not? I am so hard! After that, he went back, of course, this day's performance is also a failure.
The Chocolate Incident
X always receives a lot of chocolates, hide doesn't eat them for fear of gaining weight, toshi doesn't eat them for fear of losing her voice, pata doesn't eat them because she doesn't like sweets but only likes wine, and taiji doesn't care, so she eats them all the time. yoshiki left three circles right three circles around, a very want to eat the look, and finally turned his head, go. Everyone wondered why he didn't eat. They were afraid of gaining weight, but he's the kind of person who doesn't gain weight even when he eats, so there was no reason for it. So they asked him one by one, and finally Toshi told them the truth. It turns out that yoshiki once ate chocolate in the hospital, because he ate too much. Rampage ~~~~ (to the hospital, baby, how much chocolate did you eat?
Band introduction:
X-Japan have brought more than just musical riches to Japan, though the supergroup's talent seems to be matched only by SafeZone. More importantly, they brought out the spirit of X, the spirit of never-say-die, the spirit of revolution, the spirit of rebellion,...X's flashy clothes and hairstyles, which were once considered insane, have now become the symbol of X. As the originators of visual rock, X-Japan has had a profound influence on future generations, not just in behavior and clothing, but in spiritual power. It's not just in their behavior and clothing, but also in their mental strength.
PATA
Real Name: Tomoaki Ishizuka Birthday: November 4, 1965 Blood Type: B Birthplace: Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture Band Responsibility: Guitar
He was first introduced to the music of the Beatles, and fell in love with rock and roll, and then bought his first guitar in his sophomore year of high school, which led to a change in his aspirations to become a teacher. He took a break from high school to work at a musical instrument store, where he met many rock musicians and learned how to play music. He was named PATA after a manga character, and of all the X's, PATA is the one who is the least visual! PATA doesn't have a lot of body language during concerts, nor do they have flashy stage costumes, and their appearance is similar to that of TAIJI, which is an American rock style. In the early days, PATA's appearance took the route of British punk, with its red punk head and rough movements, which is a bit unconnected with the current PATA, and perhaps the current PATA is the PATA we know.
HEATH
Real name: Morie Hiroshi Birthday: January 22, 1968 Blood type: B Born in Amagasaki, Hyogo Born in BASS
The band was founded in 1992, and is now known as "PATA". /p>
On August 24th, 92, at X's World March press conference at the Rockefeller Center in New York City, the new bassist HEATH, who has also played in bands such as "paraonia," "majestic isabell," and "media youth," was officially introduced to X. In fact, on the 1991 extasy summit, the band's first album, The Battle of the Bands, was released. In fact, HEATH was a member of the X-centered Invincible Band at the 1991 extasy summit, so he has interacted with both X and extasy musicians, so it made sense for HEATH to join the band. However, X held several auditions before selecting the new X member, HEATH. The new X member, HEATH, was selected from the auditions. In October of the same year, they made their debut at "EXTASY SUMMIT 1992" in Osaka, followed by "SOLO DEBUT" at X-Japan's year-end concert at Tokyo Dome on December 30th and 31st, 1994, and released two albums, "SOLO DEBUT" and "SOLO DEBUT". "They released two solo albums, [heath] (1995) and [Gang Age Cubist] (1998-6-10).
HIDE
Real Name: Hideto Matsumoto Birthday: December 13, 1965 Blood Type: AB Birthplace: Yokosuka, Kanagawa Band Role: Guitar
Before joining X, he was the guitarist of "SAVER TIGER", and was invited to join X by YOSHIKI. He is the only member of X who composes music for X besides YO in the late stage of the band. He is the fastest growing member of X-Japan after the breakup of the band. In the early morning of May 2, 1998, he attempted suicide by hanging himself in his apartment in Minato-ku, Tokyo (police conclusion). His live-in girlfriend found him unconscious, and he died after being rushed to the hospital in an ambulance, with no suicide note and an unknown motive. All concerned and Fans were greatly shocked! Leaving behind wonderful music and a mystery that will never be unraveled.
YOSHIKI
Real name: Yoshiki Hayashi Birth date: November 20, 1965 Blood type: B Birthplace: Tateyama, Chiba
Yoshiki is a talented person, maybe he doesn't see it that way himself, but there's no doubt he stands out wherever and with whomever he's with. He's smart and good at many things, and his language skills are especially impressive, as he is fluent in Japanese, Cantonese, Mandarin (Mandarin), English and French. He applies his knowledge of languages to guide people through conversations, poems and music. Yoshiki is very capable, a confident and understanding leader (?), and can often get people to talk to him. Yoshiki is highly competent, a confident and understanding leader (?), who can often get people to work with people they despise. His presence and even the mere thought of being seen and heard on stage can send his fans into a frenzy of screaming. He knew exactly when to speak and when to be silent to keep things on track. He is also an emotional and expressive person who sometimes has a hard time controlling his feelings and often cries at the end of concerts.Yoshiki is very sensitive to music and rhythm and has a keen sense of lyrics. He composes music based on Toshi's voice and often incorporates his emotional turmoil into the music. His transparent drums and piano mesmerized audiences all over Asia, and his ability to do both was amazing." What amazes me the most is that he (Yoshiki) writes music that can be played by X at a very fast speed, or by a symphony orchestra, and it all works out very well" (Yoshiki's idol Kiss said). It was Yoshiki who built and maintained X-Japan for 15 years (17?).
TOSHI
Real name: Toshizo Izayama Birthday: October 10, 1965 Blood type: A Birthplace: Tateyama City, Chiba Prefecture
TOSHI, the band's lead vocalist, has been a good friend of Yoshiki's since a very young age, and together they founded X-Japan. TOSHI's magnetic voice is very attractive. After recording "Jealousy", TOSHI's vocal cords were operated on due to chronic vocal exhaustion. After his comeback, TOSHI's voice is not as hoarse as before, but in Hell cat's opinion, it should increase his charisma. TOSHI's dress is getting plainer and plainer, and it seems that it suits TOSHI better when he wears sunglasses. (
Originally, TOSHI had a pretty good impression, but due to TOSHI's departure, X-Japan disbanded, and his position in the hearts of fans and in my heart has been different from the past, and TOSHI said that he was going to go to find his freedom, and that X was already YOSHIKI's X. He left X by his own will, but he didn't want to go to X-Japan. He left X of his own free will, putting an end to a fabulous 15 year old band.
TOSHI said at the X-Japan dissolution concert, "The name X was given by YOSHIKI, which means infinite ......"
(Because it's a screenshot of the concert. The concert didn't have him, so there's no picture of him.... Empty.)
TAIJI
Real name: Taiji Sawada Birthday: July 12, 1966 Blood type: A Birthplace: Ichikawa, Chiba
X's former bassist, who quit X after a three-day string of Tokyo Dome concerts on Jan. 7, '92, TAIJI's skills as a BASS player are breathtaking, and his skills as an acoustic guitar player are evident in "Voiceless". TAIJI's BASS skills were amazing, and his acoustic guitar skills were put to good use on "Voiceless Screaming", TAIJI left X and moved on to Kobo Takasaki's LOUDNESS, before quitting to form D.T.R. (Dirty Trash Road) with Taiji Fujimoto. TAIJI was a very standard visual musician in his early days, during Vanishing Vision and Blue Blood, and then transformed into an American rocker during Jealousy.
TAIJI was born in Ichikawa City, Chiba Prefecture, the second of three siblings in his family, and was a "king of kids" from kindergarten through elementary school. In his second year of elementary school, he skied for the first time because he [didn't like to slip], so he skied in a fast straight line with his head, and ended up in the hospital because he hit a tree. I learned the songs of Queen, Oliver Newton John, WINGS, and Beatles from my brother who was in the same ward in that hospital, and it was very rare for an elementary school student to be able to sing [Killer Queen]. The first time I played the guitar was also at this time, and I said publicly that the first record I bought was John Denba's [Sweet Surrender], but in fact, the correct one was Hideki Seijo's [Fading Roses]. I played soccer from elementary school to junior high school, but I didn't like the idea of wearing a bald head, so I gave it up halfway through. He became a delinquent in junior high school because of his family and other things, and in the third grade of junior high school was a rebellious period of total victory, "motorcycles, women, drugs, fights, etc.," and his hairstyle was permed into a PUNK head for attention and a curly, flat look made by hooligans, and he began to play the guitar when he entered Mammoth High School.
History of X-Japan
Establishment
As early as 1978, Toshi and Yoshiki, a pair of good friends, had already formed the band NOISE, and started their twisted and mythological musical journey by performing at the school's cultural festival and live house. In the summer of '82, when HEAVY METAL and HARD ROCK were just coming into Japan, they formed Japan's first HM/HD band, which was the predecessor of X JAPAN, X. In fact, X's full name was "X". The full name of the band was actually "Psychedelic Violence Crime of Visual Shock", which was said to be Toshi's idea, but Yoshiki didn't like it very much at first, with Toshi on vocals and Yoshiki on drums. .
After graduating from high school, Yoshiki and Toshi left their hometown for Tokyo and began working on their musical ambitions. When X was first formed, the members were extremely unstable, with YOJI (Guitar), TOMO (Guitar), and TOKUO (Bass) coming and going. But Toshi and Yoshiki were the only ones who were struggling. It was not until February '85 that they finally released their first self-produced single (SINGLE) "I'LL KILL YOU" (DADA Records) (indie), which sold out the expected 1,000 copies, giving X a great boost. X released his second SINGLE "ORGRAMS" (Extasy Records) in April '86 (indie).
The addition of TAIJI (BASS), PATA (GUITAR) and HIDE (GUITAR) in February '87 finally established X's permanent lineup of Toshi, Taiji, Pata, hide & Yoshiki.
At first, the major Japanese record labels thought it was not worth signing a band that wanted to be this weird. Yoshiki took out a loan from his mother and formed his own record label, Extasy Record. X's debut album, "Vanishing Vision," was released on April 14, 1988, on the Iconoclast label. X's debut album "Vanishing Vision" was released on April 14, 1988 and reached the top of the Indie album sales charts. On April 14, 1988, X finally released their first album "Vanishing Vision" (Extasy Records) (indie). Within a week, all 10,000 copies of the first limited edition were sold out! On August 1, X was officially signed to CBS/Sony Records, and after 6 years of struggling in a garage, X was finally recognized by the label.
MATURITY
In 89, they did a Blue Blood Tour Live at Shibuya Public Hall, and became the first band to do a live band show there, breaking the POP world in Japan! On April 21st, 1989, X released their debut album "BLUE BLOOD", which shook the Japanese music industry and made METAL break out of the underground, reaching #4 on the Oricon charts in the first week. The album was followed by LIVE (Rose & Blood Tour) and the release of VIDEO ("Gig Before the Outbreak"), which made X the most popular band in Japan.
On September 1 and December 31, X released the MAJOR single "RED" and the single "ENDLESS RAIN", both of which scored big on the Oricon charts. X won the Best New Artist Award at the year-end Japan Cable Awards, the Best New Artist Award at the All Japan Cable Awards, and the highest-selling Oricon New Artist Single of 1989. In March 1990, he won the 4th Japan Gold Disk Award "New Artist of the Year".
On April 21st, her third single WEEK END was released, and reached number 5 on the Oricon chart that week. On September 1st, the video "CELEBRATION-VISUAL SHOCK Vol.2.5" was released. At the end of the year, it won the Cable Music Excellence Award at the Japan Cable Awards. In March 1991, they won the 5th Gold Disk "Music Video" Award in Japan.
July 1, 1991, they released their second MAJOR album JEALOUSY, which won the No.1 spot on the Oricon charts, and on July 31, 1991, they held the "JT Super Sound '91" in Sendai, and on August 23, 1991, they held their first concert at Tokyo Dome. On August 23rd, they held their first concert at Tokyo Dome with more than 50,000 people, and on October 17th, 18th, and 19th, they held "X to Friends", "Quiet X", and "Strange X" concerts at Shinjuku Power Station. On October 17, 18, 19, "X for Friends", "Quiet X", and "Strange X" were held at Power Station in Shinjuku, and on October 24, the concert was postponed after Yoshiki collapsed in the middle of Drum Solo at Arena in Yokohama, and on November 29, "Extasy Summit '91" was held at Budokan, and Yoshiki returned to the band. On November 12 and 13, Yoshiki held a postponed concert at Arena in Yokohama, and on November 17, he held a Live House Gig at Egg Man in Shibuya, and on December 25, he announced that he was ready to go overseas. On December 1, the single "Say Anything" was released, and on December 8, "X With Orchestra" was held at NHK Hall with a symphony orchestra, and on December 20, "Violence In Jealousy Tour Final" was held at Budokan. On December 31st, X performed "Silent Jealousy" for the first time in NHK's Red and White Song Contest.
On January 5, 6, and 7, 1992, X became the first band to play three consecutive days at the Tokyo Dome, and on January 31, just when X was on the verge of a breakthrough, bassist TAIJI left the band to join LOUDNESS, citing differences in musical philosophies. (The band signed with MMG (i.e. East West Japan). At the same time, the band officially changed its name to X-Japan because there was already a band with the same name in the U.S. On October 29th, "Extasy Summit 1992" was held at Osaka Castle Hall, and on the 31st at the Nippon Budokan, and on December 31st, the band performed "Kurenai" (Red) in the 43rd Red-White Song Contest, with Yoshiki playing the Red-White theme. Yoshiki composed the lyrics and music for the theme song of "Kurenai" and accompanied him on the organ. In the same year, BASS player HEATH joined the band.
So the members of X JAPAN stabilized as: vocalist (Vocal) TOSHI, piano & drums (Drums & piano) YOSHIKI, guitarist (Guitar) PATA, guitarist (Guitar) HIDE, bassist (Bass) HEATH...
In the same year, BASS player HEATH joined.
On August 25, 2003, X-Japan officially released the MINI album "ART OF LIFE", a 30-minute-long masterpiece that reached the top of the Oricon charts. On November 21, the album "X Singles" was released. They performed "TEARS" at the NHK Red and White Concert. On November 30th and 31st, 1994, "X-Japan Tokyo Dome 2 Day" was held at Tokyo Dome. At the end of the year, she sang "Rasty Nail" at the NHK Red and White Concert.
On January 1, 1995, the live version of "1992.1.7 Tokyo Dome Live" was released, and on November 29, 1995, the "Dahlia Tour 1995-1996" started. The singles "Longing ~Shoukiri Melody~" and "Longing ~Shoukiri No Night" were released. On March 19th, 1996, the anime film "X" created by CLAMP was released, and its theme song was "Forever Love" by X-Japan, which became X-Japan's most outstanding masterpiece. "On November 4, the album "Dahlia" was released, and it was the first album to be released by Oricon, and on November 1, "B.O.X CD Best of X" was released. Dahlia Tour Final" was held at Tokyo Dome on November 30th and 31st. Three singles "DAHLIA", "Crucify My Love" and "SCARS" were released in the same year. This year was the most prolific and brilliant year for X-Japan.
Disbandment
Just as X-Japan reached its peak, on April 22nd, 1997, vocalist Toshi quit the band, citing a different musical orientation. On September 22nd, he officially left X-Japan, his friend of 20 years, Yoshiki, and all of the fans of X. He was brainwashed, denying the past, denying himself and his hard times. He denied the past, denied himself, denied his friends with whom he spent hard times, and X-Japan, leaving all the fans heartbroken. Thus, X(X-Japan), which had a history of 17 years, disbanded. On October 15, "Live Live Live Tokyo Dome 1993-1996" was released, and on November 15, "Live Live Live Extra" was released, featuring solos. On December 19th, "Ballad Collection" was released; on December 25th, "Singles Atlantic Years" was released; on December 31st, "The last Live" was released at Tokyo-Tokyo-Dome. On December 31st, "The last Live" was held at Tokyo Dome, and on the same day, "Forever Love" was performed at the Red and White Song Contest, which brought X's history to a close.
Dashed Hopes
On May 2, 1998, at 8:52 AM, HIDE, formerly known as Hideto Matsumoto, hanged himself at his home at the age of 32. The last hope of X-Japan's fabled 2000 reorganization plan was dashed. His death is still a mystery. It's hard to believe that someone who was so happy with his relationship and career would commit suicide, but could it be that he couldn't bear the sadness of X-Japan's dissolution? Suicides committed by followers of Hide continued to occur over the course of several days, and at the funeral held at Honganji Temple on May 7, 50,000 fans from all over the country gathered in a funeral procession more than two kilometers long, and 197 people fainted and collapsed from anemia on the hottest day of the year, which the Tokyo Fire Department said was the first time that so many people collapsed, in addition to accidents. The Tokyo Fire Department said it was "the first time, other than an accident, that so many people have fainted," and was surprised by Hide's huge influence.
Conclusion
