The lyrics of "The Wind Blows The Wheat Waves" are as follows:
Lyrics: Jian Li
Originally sung by Jian Li
Far away under the azure blue sky, the golden waves of wheat are surging
Just there was where you and I once fell in love
When the breeze carries the smell of the harvest, blowing towards my face
The breeze carries the smell of the harvest, blowing towards my face
When the wind blows, it is the wind that blows.
Thinking of your soft words that wet my eyes
Mmmm, la, mmmm, la
We used to sing in the fields, and look forward to winter
But we couldn't wait for the sunshine, this autumn scene
Let the vows that were once made dance, and float with the west wind
Just like your long, soft hair, which used to perfume my dreams
Mmmm, la, mmmm, la
Mmmm, la, la
And when the breeze brings the smell of harvest to my face
When I think of you, I think of you, I think of you. La, la, la
Far away, under the blue sky, there are golden waves of wheat
That's where you and I loved
When the breeze brings the smell of the harvest to my face
Remembering your soft words, which used to wet my eyes
Hmmm, la, la,la
We used to sing in the fields, and in the winter we used to hope for the future. We used to sing in the fields, in the winter, hoping
But we couldn't wait for the sunshine, this autumn scene
Let the lost vows fly, with the west wind drifting
Just like your long soft hair, which used to perfume my dreamland
Mmmm, lah, mmmm, lah
