Brief introduction of Xihe beach park in Chenzhou

Xihe Beach Park is an important infrastructure project in the eastern new area of Chenzhou, and it is a part of the heavy metal pollution control project in Xiangjiang River Basin (Xihe River). The total investment is 654.38 billion yuan, covering an area of 333,000 square meters. It used to be a tailings storage area for mining and mineral processing enterprises. After the closure of mineral processing enterprises, more than 800,000 square meters of tailings have been cleared and concentrated, covering an area of 654.38+0.000 square meters of soil and a green area of 300,000 square meters.

The project started in March of 20 1 1 year and was officially completed in February of 201/year. On March 24th, Xihe Beach Park in Suxian District was officially opened to the public free of charge. It is mainly divided into beach area, bamboo forest area, leisure fitness square area and popular science botanical garden area. Among them, the beach area is about 1 1,000 square meters, all of which are paved with high-quality pollution-free sea sand from Sanya, Hainan. There are adult recreation areas and children's recreation areas respectively, and beach volleyball matches and beach football matches can be held. There are three green islands in the middle for planting tropical trees, and fitness equipment is set around the green islands. The bamboo forest covers an area of 50,000 square meters, and more than 70,000 local bamboos have been transplanted. The square covers an area of 1.9 million square meters. All kinds of green plants 100 plants are planted in the whole park, and audio equipment is widely distributed, so that tourists can enjoy beautiful music everywhere.
