What are the basic moves of the Trapeze Dance Tutorial?

The basic moves of the tutorial are:Space walk (moon walk), 360-degree spinning in place, side kicks, side slides, basic running, left and right swaying in place, and fast running.

I, basic running

This is one of the two most basic steps of the Ghost Walk, which is used most often, and it is also a transitional step between other basic steps, so you need to practice a lot to master the essentials.

Movement details: feet together.

1. While lifting the left leg, move the right foot backward,

2. While landing on the left foot, move the right foot backward again;

3. While lifting the right leg, move the left foot backward,

4. While landing on the right foot, move the left foot backward again.

Movement essentials: when lifting the leg, the thigh is close to parallel with the ground, the calf naturally drops, do not force, and the thigh is close to vertical. Lift the leg and move backward at the same time to complete the action. The foot falls vertically when landing, without stepping forward. When the foot moves back, the first backward movement is large, and the second backward movement is small.

Second, Rapid Running

Rapid Running is the same as Basic Running, except that the second backward movement becomes very vague, point to point, and the leg lifting movement becomes very coherent, and the leg is lifted quickly after a slight backward movement.

Third, space step

1, and then lift the right heel, so that you look like you are walking with the front of the right foot to stand, the left foot to remain in place (be careful not to move, but also to maintain balance).

2. As you lower your right heel, shift your full weight to your right foot and slowly drag your left foot backward so that your left toe is even with your right heel. Do this step with your left heel slightly off the ground, and don't step down with your left foot or you won't be able to slide up. Make sure you slowly lower your right heel at the same time as and move your left foot. Controlling your speed takes a lot of practice.

Notes

Learning Techniques

Shuffle is a form of improvisation that is accomplished through the rapid switching of two core movements, so when you first begin to learn shuffle, you will need to practice the two basic steps, the Running Man and the T-Step. Step.

After studying for a while, we will find that it is not easy to master these two basic steps, and we need to practice a lot to make the movement smooth and powerful, and it is recommended to practice slowly in the first one or two months, in order to skillfully memorize the movement, which will be counterproductive if you are too eager.
