In 1979, Mr. Ni Weide, a songwriter and poet, saw a young Dai man and woman in a brightly colored dam in Mangshi, and saw a young man and woman in a brightly colored bamboo tree. The Dai young men and women in pairs in the bright moonlight in the bamboo forest, love, love songs murmuring, hulusi sound, so the poetic inspiration, pen wrote down the "moonlight under the phoenix-tailed bamboo" lyrics.
In July 1979, Shi Guangnan was transferred to the former Central Orchestra and composed hundreds of lyrical songs with strong idealistic colors, such as "Bamboo in the Moonlight", "Grapes are Ripe in Turpan" and "On the Fields of Hope", which have become the everlasting songs of the times.
