Liandao beach bathing

Fishing Bay
Fishing Bay National 4A level scenic area. Visitors to Lianyungang various scenic areas of the highest cost-effective evaluation of the place. Jinping Mountain
Located 3 kilometers southwest of the downtown area, it was named Jinping Mountain by the Kangxi Emperor because of its colorful and beautiful mountains, which are like a painted screen. There are many monuments here, which is the birthplace of ancient Haizhou civilization. In the scenic area, there are Kongwangshan Cliff Rock Carvings, Peach Blossom Stream Paleolithic Ruins and Neolithic General Cliff Rock Paintings. Kongwang Mountain, named after Confucius who once climbed the mountain to look at the sea, contains rich historical and cultural connotations and has been admired by tourists through the ages, and it is a national 4A-level scenic spot. 2500 years ago, the famous story of "Confucius asking for official" (when Confucius asked Tanzi to teach him about the system of official positions on the mountain) took place here. In his honor, a statue of Confucius looking at the sea was erected at the top of the mountain. Kongwang Mountain on the many attractions, there are floating Pavilion Cup Pan ink stone, stone elephants, stone toads, Dragon Cave and so on, the most prestigious is located in the southern foot of the Kongwang Mountain Buddhist statues, than the Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes 200 years earlier for the national cultural relics protection units, known as the historians of the "cliffs in the state of Buddha the first". Kongwangshan cliff stone statues in the size of more than 100 carvings, the largest 1.55 meters, the smallest only 10 centimeters. Kongwangshan cliff stone statue has rich Buddhist content, which "Nirvana Figure" shows Shakyamuni left the earthly world, to the world of bliss to go when all the disciples, "or grief, or wail ......" and other painful scenes. Its appearance shows that Lianyungang was one of the starting points of the "Maritime Silk Road" in Han Dynasty.
