How did everyone spend their first paycheck?

I just graduated this year and had a one-week induction program after I started at my job, and then I got my first official paycheck for my first job in my life in the second month of my employment. It wasn't a lot of money, but it was an expensive ceremony. Looking back, that day was quite interesting. On that day, when I looked at the balance of my payroll card, I suddenly realized that I had been paid one and a half months' salary. I was so happy that I thought about how to spend the money. The first and most important part is the surprise red packet for my parents, and I also set aside a portion of it as a budget for buying gifts for myself, while the rest is for necessary living expenses. If there's any left over at the end of the month, it's saved.

On the part of the red packet for my parents, I remember going to the bank and withdrawing 1,000 yuan in cash, and the brand new bills I just took out of the ATM machine added to the ritual.

Then I went to the convenience store in front of my neighborhood to buy two new red envelopes, and the woman who owned the convenience store at the time asked me:

"What do you want this red envelope for?"

"What's so different about red envelopes? They're all for money, right?"

"Of course it's not the same, there are different red envelopes for different people in different scenarios."

"Oh, oh, that's right...I'm giving it to my mom and dad!"

After replying to my boss's wife, I realized that the words I just said were filled with pride. After all, my parents had raised me for over twenty years, and it still felt different when I finally got around to giving them money instead of reaching out to them for it. Though in the end, it wasn't much money...but it wasn't like it was a matter of how much.

Next, when I got the red envelopes that the boss's wife had picked out for me, I divided the money into them, and then carefully folded the red envelopes and put them into my handbag. When I went home to give the red envelope to my parents, they were a little surprised. Originally, it was not yet time for me to go home, I usually live in the dormitory at work, and go home only after vacation, but this time I went home specially to convey this joy. And mom took the red packet when still want to excuse, she knows I am still in the probationary period, the salary is not high, heartache me, afraid that I am not good out there, but also by me to take the words blocked back.

"This is your daughter's first paycheck, it's very monumental, you must take it!" I said playfully.

Mom took the red envelope, smiled and echoed: "OK, OK, then I will treasure it, later when I am old and then turn out to use... "The first salary of life, no matter how much can really make us very excited, but also should consider how to spend the most meaningful, but no matter how to spend, is their own really meaningful, but the first paycheck. How to spend, are their own real sense of independence
