Beijing Travel Plan

Beijing Tourism Plan (1)

1. Clear tourism goals - feel the imperial style of the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties

As the capital of the Six Dynasties, Beijing has the royal character It deserves to be called the Graceful Imperial City. Almost all the scenic spots are related to the history of the royal family. The five-day self-guided tour made me deeply feel this. Friends who are interested in Chinese political history are well worth coming to the capital. A tour.

Another meaning of the last sentence is that if you are not interested in Chinese political history, you should go elsewhere. Otherwise you will feel that many attractions are the same and there is no difference. It's basically a big park and some buildings representing feudal dignitaries. If you are interested in the sea, you can go to Hainan, Qingdao, Dalian, and Mount Putuo; if you are interested in grasslands, go to Inner Mongolia; if you are interested in deserts, go to Tibet; if you are interested in snow mountains, go to Yulong Snow Mountain; if you are interested in mountains, go to Wuyue and Huangshan.

2. Formulate travel plan - preparation, travel route

(1) Preparation.

1. Buy your train tickets in advance. I bought a hard seat on the T102 express train at 20:02 and arrived in Beijing at 9:34 the next day. Ticket price is 179 yuan.

Friendly reminder: You cannot book a hard sleeper. You can reserve a soft sleeper but it is too expensive at 499 yuan. You can make up for the hard sleeper ticket after boarding the train, but it is also difficult to make up. Here I will share my experience, that is Wait for the train about an hour in advance so that you can be in front of the waiting queue. After checking in, you must immediately go to the train to register for a sleeper berth ticket. The conductor will write a serial number on your ticket. The higher the serial number, the better the chance. Booked a sleeper berth. If you want to play well, you need to rest well. It’s well worth booking a sleeper berth.

2. Book a hotel in Beijing in advance. I booked a Home Inn (Beixinqiao Branch). Single room with double bed is 158 yuan/day. Standard room is 198 yuan/day.

Friendly recommendation: I came back satisfied with my trip to Beijing, and booking this hotel was a big factor. This hotel is a chain economy hotel. Although the room is a bit small, it is very refreshing and warm, the sanitary equipment is clean and complete, and the service is very good. I highly recommend the Home Inn chain hotel. You can make a reservation on Ctrip.com, but you have to go early. I couldn't make a reservation on Ctrip, so I called to make a temporary reservation. I originally wanted to book at the Homeinn Qian store, but I couldn't, so I had to book at the Beixinqiao store, but it turned out to be... I am very satisfied because the Beixinqiao store has just opened (September 2004) and the equipment is all new.

3. Prepare your travel backpack.

Friendly advice: Prepare two travel bags, one large and one small. The big ones are kept in hotels and the small ones are for traveling. This saves effort and a lot of trouble. Mao Zedong Memorial Hall, Tiananmen Rostrum, the Forbidden City and other places have to deposit bags, queuing up and spending time and money. I was carrying a medium bag, and it cost me 9 yuan and 15 minutes to deposit my bag at Mao Zedong Memorial Hall. Tiananmen Tower cost 3 yuan and 15 minutes.

4. Prepare other items

(1) Beijing has a large temperature difference, so it is recommended to bring more coats. Especially when climbing the Great Wall, you need to wear shirts, underpants and a windproof jacket.

(2) Bring commonly used medicines for colds and fevers, as well as topical medicines such as band-aids.

(3) Buy a sealed travel bag and bring your own towels, mouthwash cups, toothbrushes, toothpaste and other hygiene products. Whether on the train or in a hotel, it is more secure to use your own dedicated hygiene products.

(4) Borrow student ID card. Very useful. This time, except for the Ming Tombs, which had five people checking in at the same time and failing to pass, I bought student tickets for all other attractions and passed. Each person can save more than 100 yuan. (It’s best if the photo on the student ID card you borrow looks more like you, the guard will take a look at it)

(5) Beijing transportation map. Don't buy it at the train station, it costs 4 yuan. It's only 1 yuan from vendors in many squares and tunnels.

(2) Beijing Travel Route

I came to Beijing this time to relax and enjoy the scenery, so I don’t seek perfection but perfection. I must go to Xiangshan, the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, and the Summer Palace. . Therefore, we carefully made the following arrangements: (The principle is not to go around in circles, avoid rush hours, and take the bus as much as possible)

D1: Beijing Railway Station - buy return train tickets - Beixinqiao Home Inn registration and accommodation - Yonghegong Temple ==Confucius Temple==Guozijian==Wangfujing==Lower the flag at Tiananmen—Go back to Home Inn

D2: Beixinqiao Home Inn──Xiangshan==Summer Palace==Yuyuantan──Go to Ghost Street to eat hot pot—Go back to Home Inn

D3: Beixinqiao Home--Flag Raising at Tiananmen Square== Zhengyangmen Archery Tower== Chairman Mao Memorial Hall== Great Hall of the People== Tiananmen Gate Tower== Forbidden City--Back to Home

D4: Beixinqiao Home - Badaling Great Wall = Dingling Tombs of the Ming Tombs - Return to Home

D5: Beixinqiao Home - Beihai Park = Temple of Heaven - Qianmen Dashilar - Beijing Railway Station

1. For tourists who have a digital camera but not a digital companion or a laptop, you can find a photo studio that can engrave plates. I found a computer worker named Zhou in the Beijing photo studio near Home Inn Beixinqiao store. Every day I gave him the full camera and stored it in his computer. The day before I left, I burned all the photos into a disk for 15 yuan each. My digital camera is 128 megabytes, so there are more than 400 megabytes per day. To be on the safe side, I also found another digital printing shop for backup, but in the end I didn’t go to burn the disc, which was really a bit embarrassing! But for double insurance, there is no other way.

2. Home Inn Express provides free broadband Internet access. Friends who want to access the Internet can bring their laptops.

D1: Beijing Railway Station - buy return train ticket - Beixinqiao Home Inn registration - Yonghe Temple == Confucius Temple == Imperial College == Wangfujing == flag lowering at Tiananmen Square - return to Home Inn

After getting off the Beijing Station, many people left the station. In fact, there was a window for booking return tickets on the side before leaving the station. No one bought the tickets. After I went to buy them (it can only be booked for four days), A line immediately formed behind me.

Since I didn’t take a sleeper berth when I came to Beijing, it’s not a good time to work too hard today. Let’s go for a drive around some scenic spots near our accommodation. After arriving in Beijing at 9:34 am, take No. 104 on the left side of Beijing Station and get off at Beixinqiao (about half an hour). Walk 10 minutes to Home Inn Beixinqiao to check in (reservation required). After a short rest (you can Hotel dining), start at about 13:00 and walk for 10 minutes to Yonghegong (about 1 hour), then walk for 5 minutes to Confucius Temple (about half an hour), next to the Confucius Temple is the Imperial College (about half an hour), continue walking west along the Confucius Temple Gate Street It takes about 5 minutes. Take Route 104 to Wangfujing at about 16:00 (about half an hour). Go shopping in Wangfujing shopping mall. If you have an appetite, eat Dong Laishun hot pot (138 yuan set meal for two people). We will start walking there at about 18:00. Watching the flag lowering in Tiananmen Square (about 10 minutes), you will find that there are huge crowds of people in Tiananmen Square, all waiting for the flag to be lowered (the flag lowering time is different every day, you can buy a Beijing newspaper and read it, it costs 50 cents each, and it has the flag raising and lowering time every day). I watched the Flag Lowering at 18:30. After watching it, I wanted to hang out in Tiananmen Square, but because I was too sleepy, I walked to Wangfujing Yangzhao Point and took a taxi from Hui Rujia, which cost 13 yuan. I went to bed at 21:00 today, and tomorrow I have to go to Fragrant Mountain, one of the main purposes of my trip to Beijing.

Yonghegong: Tickets are 25 yuan, student tickets are 12 yuan

Confucius Temple: Tickets are 10 yuan, student tickets are 3 yuan

Imperial College: Tickets (I didn’t go, I don’t know, sorry, let’s read other people’s travel notes)

Taxi:

Xiali starts at 10 yuan for 4 kilometers, and 1.2 yuan for each additional kilometer

Fukang 10 yuan starting fee for 3 kilometers, 1.6 yuan for every kilometer exceeded

Hongqi 10 yuan starting fee, 3 kilometers, 2 yuan for every kilometer exceeded

D2: Beixinqiao Home Inn - Xiangshan= =Summer Palace==Yuyuantan - Go to Ghost Street to eat hot pot - Return to Rujia

Since it is a good season for viewing red leaves, I was afraid of crowds and traffic jams, so I got up early, and we were already on the bus at 6:00 We took the No. 13 bus in front of our house and took it to Fuchengmen in about 20 minutes. We got off the bus and walked 20 meters forward. It was the starting point of No. 737 to Xiangshan. There was a breakfast restaurant here. My wife and I had two bowls of tofu. Brain and meat buns, costing 5 yuan 4, took bus 714 to the terminal, Xiangshan, about 7:45. There are three ways to climb Xiangshan Mountain. The best route is the middle road, and then get off the south road. The middle road has many scenic spots, the south road has the red leaf area, and the north road mainly has cable cars. I was too tired and sleepy, so I took the North Road cable car down on the middle road. Afraid of Xiangshan, we didn’t spend much energy, so we bought some Xiangshan red leaves at the exit. At about 11 o’clock, we took the 737 at the Xiangshan parking lot to the Summer Palace (it was very congested going down the mountain, and we were stuck in traffic for about 20 minutes, and it took about 11 o’clock to get to the Summer Palace) :50). Climbing Xiangshan took one hour longer than the two hours I expected. (It’s all because there are no seats in the sleeper berth, so I’m tired)

We bought student tickets at the Summer Palace and did not buy a combined ticket (the combined ticket includes Foxiang Pavilion, Suzhou Street, and Dehe Garden) because we listened online It is said that the whole Suzhou Street can be seen from a bridge, and the Forbidden City of Foxiang Pavilion has one. ) Because we were too tired from climbing Xiangshan Mountain, the pain in our feet affected our mood of visiting the Summer Palace. We kept stopping to rest, and we didn’t leave the willows on both sides of the embankment. We took a big boat on the promenade (8 yuan/person) After arriving at Nanhu Island, we walked from the Seventeen-Arch Bridge to the south gate and went out. I looked at my watch and saw that it was only half past two. I took bus 374 to Fucheng Road and planned to take a taxi home. I saw that it was still early, and bus 13 happened to end at the east gate of the famous Yuyuantan Park opposite the bus 374, so I decided to go across Yuyuantan to save money. One more attraction to visit. Who knew this was a wrong decision? The scenery of Yuyuantan is nothing to say. There are water, trees, and boating (40 yuan/hour). The student ticket is only 1 yuan, but it is much bigger than it looks on the map. We are enough After walking for two hours (and because I was afraid of taking a detour and wanted to get out quickly, I hadn’t gone to the park’s scenic spots yet), I walked to the east gate and saw that there was a park observation car. I was so angry, my poor feet Ah! ! ! It took more than 20 minutes to wait for the bus at the No. 13 terminal out of the east gate (why is it so slow) before I got on the bus at 17:15. It was the rush hour after work (Beijing people get off work at 17:30), and it was already 18:45 when we arrived at Home Inn. We also took the station (actually the closest one was Chuanban Hutong Station, and it took us 5 minutes to walk to Beixinqiao Station), so we simply went to the hotpot street in Beixinqiao Ghost Street to eat pickled fish hotpot. It tasted pretty good! My wife said it was the first time she had dinner in Beijing. It’s just a lot of waste! When ordering, please note that the portions in Beijing are huge! We ordered sauerkraut hot pot for 20 yuan, half a catty of grass carp for 20 yuan, one portion of mutton for 18 yuan, three portions of vegetarian dishes, and one portion of preserved egg tofu. It cost 95 yuan per day, wasting half of the mutton, one portion of wide vermicelli, and half A portion of preserved egg tofu, half a portion of gluten, and half a bottle of Coca-Cola. It really shouldn’t be such a waste, and it can’t be packed, so I’m ashamed!

Xiangshan: Admission is 20 yuan, student ticket is 10 yuan; cable car is 30 yuan per person, no student ticket;

Summer Palace: Admission is 30 yuan, student ticket is 15 yuan. Coupon ticket 50 yuan, no student ticket;

Kunming Lake electric yacht with canopy is 60 yuan/hour, can seat 6 people; without canopy is 40 yuan/hour, can seat 4 people;

Yuyuantan: Tickets are 2 yuan, student tickets are 1 yuan.

D3: Beixinqiao Home - Flag Raising at Tiananmen Square = Zhengyangmen Archery Tower = Chairman Mao Memorial Hall = Great Hall of the People = Tiananmen Gate Tower = Forbidden City - Return to Home

The flag raising was around 6:30. We didn’t go to see it due to lack of sleep, but I thought we should still go. We got up at 8:00 and wanted to take bus 104, but we saw that the bus was packed with people, so we decided to go there. We took a taxi and got it at Zhengyangmen Jianlou. It cost 19 yuan. There was a traffic jam in the morning. First I took photos at the Arrow Tower and went to see Chairman Mao (it took more than an hour. I queued up for half an hour to deposit my bag and then queued up to enter the museum. It was free to see the Chairman. It cost 9 yuan to deposit the bag and 2 yuan to rent flowers. Yuan, Chairman Mao’s introduction booklet is 1 yuan, and there are dozens of stalls at the back door of the Chairman’s Memorial Hall, all selling Chairman souvenirs. Alas, the influence of the market economy is so great!), so the Great Hall of the People! I didn’t go, so I went directly to climb the Tiananmen Rostrum, but I had to queue up to deposit and pick up my bags. The Tiananmen Rostrum was issuing climbing certificates, but I wasn’t interested. My wife strongly urged me to buy two of them, which cost 24 yuan. There are no photos. Next we went to the Forbidden City, which we have long admired. We walked around the Forbidden City for 5 hours and didn't come out until 17 o'clock. The bag you carry when you go to the Forbidden City should not be too big, otherwise you will have to store it and rent an electronic guide at the entrance. It is very useful and only costs 10 yuan per bag. Walk from the middle road to the Shenwu Gate, then return from the West Sixth Palace to the Hall of Supreme Harmony, and then visit the East Sixth Palace. You need to buy another ticket for the East Sixth Palace Treasure Hall for 10 yuan per person. After visiting the East Sixth Palace, go out from the Shenwu Gate. If you have the energy, you can go to Jingshan Park, but you have to leave the Forbidden City early. I was too tired from walking and didn’t go anywhere. I asked for a taxi to go back to the hotel because I had to get up early to climb the Great Wall tomorrow.

Great Hall of the People: Tickets are 30 yuan, student tickets are 15 yuan

Tiananmen Gate Tower: Tickets are 10 yuan, student tickets are 5 yuan

Forbidden City: Tickets are 40 yuan, Student ticket 20 yuan

Treasure Hall: Ticket 10 yuan, no student ticket

D4: Beixinqiao Home - Badaling Great Wall = Dingling Tombs of the Ming Tombs - Return to Home

I was very excited to go climb the Great Wall. I woke up early in the morning. At 7:30, we left Rujia and walked for 5 minutes to Zhangzizhong Street. We took bus 734 to Deshengmen and changed to the 919 air-conditioned bus to Badaling Great Wall. (Note: 919 has many branches. Don’t make a mistake. Take the air-conditioned bus in the parking lot behind Deshengmen, 12 yuan/person). After waiting for nearly three quarters of an hour, the bus didn’t leave until about 9 o’clock. Arrive at Badaling at 10:30. We climbed the north slope, because there is Haohan Slope on the north slope and there are many people, so we joined in the fun. There is a pulley (30 yuan/person) and a cable car (40 yuan/person) to go down the mountain. We didn't take a seat, it was mostly because the team was in a hurry. At this time, the team is not as free as we are. In fact, the south slope is not bad, but we couldn't climb it anymore, so we went out to have lunch around 12:30 noon. It’s so expensive, a box lunch costs 22 yuan.

After lunch, it was only 13:30, so we decided to go to the Ming Tombs. (But this decision was a stain on our trip. Not only did we spend money, we almost got taken advantage of. The scenic spots were also the least fun!) There was no car in Badaling to go to the Ming Tombs, so we had to rent a car to go to the Ming Tombs. (Why do we say rent a car? Well, because there are no taxis here, only individual vans, you can just bargain with him). We rented 60 yuan to go to the Ming Tombs. The driver first said that he would take me to three scenic spots for free on the way. The first one was Old Beijing in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. , when we got there, it was quite large, but there were no tourists, and we had never heard of it, so we didn’t go in. The driver immediately seemed unhappy, and we didn’t know why. We didn’t know the whole story until we asked later. That’s something to talk about later. Then the driver took us to the Ming Palace Wax Museum, which he said was the main tomb of the Ming Tombs. When we arrived, we saw two travel agency buses at the door. The entrance fee to the mausoleum was 40 yuan/person, and the student ticket was 20 yuan/person. It was not very expensive, so we went in. There were about 15 wax figure areas inside, telling the story of the Emperor of the Ming Tombs of the Ming Dynasty. But when the driver saw that we had student tickets, he became unhappy again.

Originally, he wanted to go to Zhaoling with us. He said it was the best-preserved mausoleum on the ground. I learned from online travel notes that Dingling was the largest, so I told him to go to Dingling as soon as I got in the car. He was vague. Agree. Arrive at Dingling around 15:00. His chatter seemed to have suddenly stopped during this section of the road. When we got off the train at Dingling, he turned around and drove away.

Then began our unlucky trip to Beijing. First, when we were buying tickets, the ticket seller checked our student IDs. We managed to get through. When we got to the ticket gate, my dear, there were five of them. There were two ticket inspectors checking our tickets side by side. At first, I thought there was only one ticket inspector checking our tickets and student ID cards. Unexpectedly, five people gathered around to look. After seeing it, a female ticket inspector wearing sunglasses said coldly: 100%. One hundred is not me. No matter how we argued, they refused to let go. A fat female ticket inspector took my student ID card and asked me: In what year did you enroll in school? I panicked and said: I am a junior this year. Of course I entered school in 2001. The fat ticket inspector proudly thrust his student ID card into my hand and said: Come on, go and make up your ticket! I opened my student ID card: it was September 2002. When it was over, we had to go and pay for the tickets. When the ticket seller saw me coming back, he proudly said: Don't be honest, you have to be honest. Wow, the ticket for two people cost 120 yuan. This is the highest ticket price we have in Beijing. I originally thought that it must be so expensive and the scenery inside must be nice. Unexpectedly, as soon as we entered, we descended into an underground tomb with only three dragon chairs and a few coffins. We came out in half an hour. When I looked at the watch, it was only 16:30. I felt that it was not worth it! It is strongly recommended that friends who are not particularly interested in tombs should not visit here! It’s a waste of time, money, and energy without any hassle!

There is no bus directly back to Beijing. After asking, you can take the 315 bus at the Dingling parking lot to Changping and change to the 345 or 919, but the 315 bus runs every 40 minutes. It is late and the bus is slow. I can’t wait. So I carpooled to Changping with two elderly tourists. The price was 20 yuan per hour. I paid 10 yuan and then took 919 back to Deshengmen. The ticket was 4 yuan per person. When I arrived at Deshengmen, I felt too tired. The taxi ride back to Home Inn cost 12 yuan, otherwise you can take the subway to Andingmen and walk back to the hotel. When I arrived at Rujia, I quickly went to a Beijing photo studio to engrave a plate of photos from four days ago. I didn’t go to another photo studio. I wonder if they would do with the photos I had stored there in the past three days?

Chatting with the driver and two elderly tourists on the taxi ride from Dingling to Changping, I learned a lot of information:

(1) You can go from Badaling to Dingling, the Ming Tombs I took 919 to Changping and then took a taxi. The 919 bus to Changping costs 6 yuan per person, and the taxi from Changping to Dingling costs 15 yuan. (It is most cost-effective if 4 to 5 people take a taxi directly from Badaling.)

(2) The driver from Badaling to Dingling has huge rebates for taking us to old Beijing and Ming Palace and other places for free. He can get a commission of 30 yuan for the 45 yuan ticket to Old Beijing, 20 yuan for the 40 yuan ticket to the Ming Palace, and 10 yuan for the 20 yuan ticket for students. (No wonder the driver’s attitude changed so much), so if you choose to take a taxi, be sure to state your destination clearly.

Badaling: Tickets are 50 yuan, student tickets are 25 yuan

Ming Tombs: Tickets are 60 yuan, student tickets are 30 yuan

D5: Beixinqiao Home Inn check-out ―Beihai Park==Temple of Heaven――Qianmen Dashilan―Beijing Railway Station

Time flies so fast. The vacation is over so quickly. My wife said she was too tired these two days and didn’t get enough rest. So I slept in in the morning and gave up going to Beihai Park (otherwise I would go to Beihai Park in the morning and go to the Temple of Heaven in the afternoon). I checked out at 10 o'clock in the morning and took bus 106 in front of Rujia to go to the Temple of Heaven and go to the north gate of the Temple of Heaven. Get off at the station. My wife didn’t dare to buy a student ticket, so she bought a ticket for 15 yuan/person (student ticket is 8 yuan/person). Temple of Heaven Park is much more fun than the Ming Tombs. It is a large place with acres of woods, grassy fields and a vast green area.

I felt very good when I went in. I paid for the attraction ticket and went to the Temple of Heaven, the Echo Wall, and the Circular Mound. The Temple of Heaven is very tall. Under the blue sky, the roof of the Temple of Heaven seemed to be shining with blue light. I couldn't bear it. Lived in the Temple of Heaven Square and did some somersaults. There is actually no secret to the echo wall. It is just a circular wall that uses the principle of sound wave emission. Many people who didn't know it spoke softly on both sides of the wall and listened carefully to each other's voices, but in the end they couldn't hear anything. There is a protruding round stone slab in the center of the circle. Many people stood on it to take pictures. My wife and I finally took turns taking pictures. It seemed that this stone was where the emperor used to stand to worship heaven. After taking photos in Yuanqiu, we turned back and walked northwest, passing by the Zhai Palace and exiting through the south gate. It’s only 13:00.

So I called a rickshaw and went to Qianmen (actually it’s only two stops away, but there are a lot of rickshaws in Beijing, so I thought I’d take one when I come). There are many famous snacks here. In the restaurant, we ate Xiaolong on the first floor of the world. The taste was average. The vegetable egg soup and preserved egg tofu were okay.

I thought we were on the 19:51 train. It’s only 14:00 now and there are still 5 hours left. Where are we going? To Beihai Park? My wife said we didn’t want to go, the parks were pretty much the same, so let’s just go for a ride nearby. So we went for a walk in Dashilan and bought some Beijing specialties, bean cakes and fructose. I wanted to buy some Peking ducks at Quanjude Roast Duck Restaurant in Qianmen, but they were too expensive, costing 108 yuan each. And no one in our family eats roast duck, so we didn’t buy it (another reason is that there are too many roast ducks here, and I don’t know which brand is authentic. The takeaway at the entrance of Quanjude is 78 yuan/piece. I asked the waiter in Quanjude. They are not together). At 15:00, we were tired from traveling, so we ate two bags of potatoes and two large Cokes at the KFC at the front door, and sat there for more than an hour. At 16:30, we ran to Tiananmen Square and found a stone staircase on the grass. We sat there until dark. At 18:15, we set off for the train station. We took bus 59 at the front door and it was only five stops away. However, it was quite congested, and it was almost 19:00 when we arrived at Beijing Station. There were a lot of people waiting for the bus, ten times more than those who came to Beijing. Sure enough, when I checked in and registered for a sleeper berth ticket, I was already in line for number 20. (I was lucky. There were only 21 sleeper berths left. I almost had to take the train to Shanghai, so I had to wait for the bus earlier in the future.)

Okay, my strategy is somewhat confusing. , I spent two nights thinking about it and wrote it down. I hope it will be useful to all self-guided tourists!

This trip to Beijing-summarized a few suggestions:

1. People are on a journey and enjoy the journey. Don’t ignore the beautiful scenery around you in a hurry to get to your destination.

2. Eating well and sleeping well are the guarantee of having a good time! Getting up early can avoid the rush hour, so go to bed early at night. You must book a sleeper berth on the train.

3. The scenic spots in Beijing are all very similar, they are all big parks, so I don’t have to ask for all of them, but focus on choosing the ones that are suitable for the season and are representative. I went there in autumn, so I focused on the Fragrant Mountain, Summer Palace, Badaling Great Wall, and the Forbidden City. attractions. Although other attractions are also good, they can only be used as supplements and you can choose not to go. Don't spend unnecessary energy just to visit more attractions.

4. Don’t go to the Ming Tombs, it’s a waste of time, effort and money. The scenery is too average.

5. Highly recommend Home Inn for accommodation. There are currently five chain stores in Beijing.

6. If you are traveling to Beijing with a tour group, I strongly recommend Shenzhen Kanghui Travel Agency. Shenzhen currently has 107 branches and is one of the top five agencies in the country.

Visit the Summer Palace (tickets are 30 yuan, tickets for Paiyun Hall and Buddhist Incense Pavilion are 10 yuan), and you need to take a dragon boat ride (5-6 yuan/person) Kunming Lake, Old Summer Palace, visited Peking University, Tsinghua University, visited the Temple of Heaven Park in the afternoon, and went shopping in the evening. The SOGO department store located in Xuanwumen is Sogo Department Store, and there are restaurants nearby.

October 5th:

This morning I visited the Beijing Museum of Nature, No. 126, Tianqiao South Street, Chongwen District, Beijing. *****

In the afternoon, I took the 2:40 Beijing-Jinan high-speed train back to Jinan, picked up the car in the parking lot and went home, returning victoriously.

What to bring:

1: Bring your ID card, bank card, and cash.

2: Bring your mobile phone, camera, laptop, charger, photo transfer card, umbrella, and necessary medicines.

3 Beijing Map, Beijing Travel Book

4. Transportation: It is best to avoid rush hours when traveling and use a combination of buses, subways, and rentals. Beijing Public Transport Network: A very useful website. Enter where you want to go, and all the bus lines will come out, and the kilometers will be marked. The buses in Beijing are also very cheap, generally between 1 yuan and 2 yuan. The subway in Beijing is older but very convenient and special. It is Line 2 (circular subway), which can directly reach Tiananmen, the Forbidden City, the Lama Temple, Wangfujing, and Xidan.

1) Flag raising: Beijing Meteorological Bureau: You can check the weather online and see the flag raising and lowering time the next day.

2) Forbidden City: It takes about 4 to 5 hours. The tour route of the Forbidden City is very particular. If you don’t have enough time (within two hours), you can only tour the central axis route, which has three main halls. , the three major palaces, and the Imperial Garden, it doesn’t matter whether you enter from the south or the north. The Three Main Halls and the Three Great Palaces are the most important buildings of the Forbidden City. If you can come to the Forbidden City on a rainy or snowy day, you will definitely see a more charming Forbidden City. To the west of the central axis are the military aircraft office and Yangxin Hall, and to the east are the Nine Dragon Wall and Treasure Hall. There is an additional fee for visiting the Eastern Front. (A special reminder here for those who are still students, don’t forget to bring your student ID card to any tourist attraction in Beijing. As for why, you can guess it even if I don’t tell you.) If you have plenty of time, you can refer to such a route

It looks like a stroke of painting, just for testing. Being able to find a route that takes you the least amount of time to visit the Forbidden City without repeating the same route is actually one of the joys of self-guided tours. You can see the panoramic view of the Forbidden City from the top of Jingshan Park in Jingshan Park behind the Forbidden City. It should be the best place to see the panoramic view of the Forbidden City. That's a high point. It's better to understand some history when going to the Forbidden City. Otherwise, the courtyards inside are all the same, just like a quick glance at the flowers.

3) Great Wall: The transportation to the Badaling Great Wall is very convenient. You can take 919. Speaking of 919, there is a lot of articles. The boarding location is at a place below Deshengmen City, which is not very conspicuous. Take the Line 2 subway and get off at Jishuitan. When exiting the subway, take the north exit, so you don’t have to walk over the overpass. Go to the ground and walk east along Deshengmen West Street. The 919 air-conditioned bus is in the parking lot north of Deshengmen. There is a small pavilion in the dispatch room. The 919 got on the expressway soon after leaving, so we arrived quickly (the whole journey took about 1 hour). We passed by scenic spots such as Juyongguan and Shuiguan Great Wall in the middle, so we could take some photos through the window. After getting off the highway, we turned a corner and reached our destination.

4) The Summer Palace takes about 3 hours: Royal Garden. You need to take a dragon boat tour on Kunming Lake.

5) Temple of Heaven: It takes about 2 to 3 hours. It is a large park with good greening. The Palace of Prayer for Good Harvest inside was renovated in May 2006 with an investment of nearly 50 million yuan. It feels really good. It would be a pity not to go and take a look at the splendid golden walls and carved beams and painted buildings. There are other echo walls and there is nothing interesting like the Shuanghuan Pavilion. Just take a look at the door. I saw someone shouting desperately in the echo wall. It seemed like something. It’s useless. From Tiantan to Beijing Station, get on the bus at the west gate of Tiantan and take 729 or 744.

6) Prince Gong: It takes about 3 hours: Just buy a ticket for 20 yuan. Follow the tour guide. As soon as you enter, go into the underground palace and touch the word "Fu".

7) Shichahai: About 2 hours: Shichahai includes three lakes: Qianhai, Houhai, and Xihai, the well-preserved Prince Gong’s Mansion, and criss-crossing alleys. On both sides of Houhai, there are Prince Gong’s Mansion, Guo Moruo’s former residence, and Song Qingling former residence. The style of Yandai Xiexiang is quite charming. There are many exotic shops selling everything from clothes, decorations, jewelry, small restaurants, and places selling books about little people. The famous "BBQ Season" is also inside.

8) Mao Zedong Memorial Hall: Remember to inquire about the opening hours of the memorial hall. It is not open every day.

9) Beihai: Behind the Forbidden City, there is a White Pagoda inside. (There are limited opening hours) The song "We Swing the Oars" when I was a child was written here. Beihai Park is the entertainment and activity for Beijing people. In this place, Beijingers will carry out many singing and dancing activities for their own entertainment in the park.

10) Peking University’s attractions are mainly concentrated in the North District, including the West Gate, Office Building, Jingchun Garden, Langrun Garden, and Yita Lake Pictures; Tsinghua University’s attractions are mainly concentrated in the West District, such as Jinchun Garden and Gongzi Hall. , school, second school gate and college of science, etc. There are bicycle rentals at the west gate of Tsinghua University for 2 yuan/hour.
