Dongfanghong Tractor is China's first real sense of the tractor. 1954, Chairman Mao Zedong will be the first of the new China. From this day onwards, the "Dongfanghong" tractors made by China First Tractor were constantly driven out from Luoyang to the four corners of China to support the agricultural construction of new China.

In 1953, the first tractor manufacturing plant began to break ground
At the end of 1957, 25-year-old Lu Fulai came to Luoyang from Changchun FAW to support the construction of the first tractor. At that time, the factory building had already been built, and the machine tools and equipment had already been installed on the ground. He and the workers, led by Soviet experts, began to unseal and clean the equipment. "At that time, according to the agreement that should come from the Soviet Union, many of the work equipment did not arrive, and later realized that the original Sino-Soviet relations at that time has been a problem.
