Do all square dance competitions have to insure their members?

Yes, or the team members can purchase their own. Participants in the Square Dance Competition must sign the "Voluntary Participation Responsibility Letter" and purchase their own insurance before they can participate in the competition, and those who are sick or unwell due to personal illnesses are declined to participate in the competition. Square Dance Competition is organized to provide a platform for the majority of square dance enthusiasts to exchange and display, and better guide, support and promote the healthy and orderly development of the national square dance movement.
