What would you do if you didn't have to work in the future?

I was recently listening to Van Wagenen's Elite Day Class, and one of the installments, Imagine a world where you don't have to work, inspired me.

He exemplified a few facts about work in the US:

1 The overall number of jobs is decreasing

2 Even for those jobs that have survived, a large portion of them are simply not worth doing

3 The US is already a welfare state

Mr. Van Wagenen was asking us to go along with Levistone's point and imagine a world where you don't have to go to work one day. don't need to go to work and can live entirely on high welfare, how will you live with yourself?

In fact, I've been thinking about the question of whether it makes sense for us to invest a lot of time in the work at hand

Most of our time in this life is taken up by work, and the purpose of work is to survive, to buy a car, to buy a house, to get married and have children, and to reproduce the next generation. If one of those things doesn't happen, we have to work until we die, and work is our source of income. And in order to be able to work in the work, in order to quickly promote, we have to work outside the time to learn to recharge or to go around socializing to maintain the relationship between customers and leaders.

This has led to a lot of people being extremely anxious when they see someone who has suddenly become wealthy and free.

The reason for this anxiety is not the wealth itself, but the fact that people can go ahead and experience life, explore new worlds, and try new things. And most of us have to delay these experiences to retirement, retirement to make up for their previous hobbies, want to go but do not have the time to go to the place, but that time the feeling is certainly not the same.

We have to admit that we are poor people born in ordinary families, from the moment we are born, we have to be busy for survival, we have no time to take care of everything around us, how long have you not read a new book, how long have you not gone out to socialize. Look at all the drop drivers and takeaway boys running around at night, the capitalists are squeezing all the time out of us in order to chase profits, and the world out there is wonderful, but it has nothing to do with you, and you don't even have time to take a look at the beautiful women who are rubbing shoulders with you.

If I don't have to work in the future, I'll definitely try my best to fulfill those unrealistic dreams and find a place to live

For example, I'll go to Turkey to take a hot air balloon ride, go to the Alps for a snowboarding trip, see what the aurora borealis looks like, and see what's the difference between the African prairie and what's in the textbook.

Writing a novel with yourself as the main character, taking your parents on a trip around the world, making an interesting movie, going to a remote mountainous area to teach and do volunteer work, and so on

This is the kind of life that is full of stories and worth remembering.

Now, the trajectory of everyone's life is almost the same, when we were young, we all studied hard to get a good university, after graduating from the university to find a good platform for a good job, and then work hard to get promoted, save money to buy a car to buy a house, and then get married and have a child, more time and money continue to invest in the next generation, and then retired to either take the child or dance square dance.

This is also quite good is less your own color and personality.

If we don't have to work in the future, we will no longer do things with money as the first standard, everyone will go to do things they are interested in, and fully enjoy the prosperity and beauty of the world, instead of wasting their youthful years in meaningless overtime work, many capitalists and entrepreneurs are still the value of non-stop to the employees to brainwash to love their work to have the spirit of dedication, they will not care about the employee's work is not valuable, will not care about the employee's work. They don't care whether the employees' work is valuable or not, whether they will be eliminated or not, they want to exploit the surplus value of the employees to a greater extent, and they care about the profits and share price of the enterprise. I have always believed that in the future everyone should do more valuable and creative work, low-end dangerous, heavy and repetitive labor should be given to AI and robots.

So if we don't have to work in the future, it will make us actively think about pursuing more meaningful things to satisfy our higher spiritual needs. Human beings are not animals, they will not let themselves be idle.

I hope that everyone has not come to the world in vain, and can leave this world happily with good memories.
