In the 3rd year of the Republic of China (1914), Du Baolin entered the world of amusement arcade cover. Performing on the stage of the amusement park was not as casual as street rap. In order to enrich his own reserved programs, Du Baolin adapted and transplanted segments of the next-door theater, such as "Shaoxing People Taking the Train," "The Blind Man Borrowing an Umbrella," and "Burning the Tofu Shop," and so on. Pinghu's "Little Hot Fu" was introduced in the 1920s by Lu Jinsheng, a native of Kunshan, Jiangsu Province.
