You can't step on the brake when you are driving. When you are in gear, you can reduce the speed more quickly with the help of engine deceleration. Without ABS, it is easy to cause tire lock when braking. If the front wheel locks, it will lose control of the driving direction and the car will move in the inertial direction. At this time, it is useless for the driver to manipulate the steering wheel. If the rear wheel is locked, the body will swing sideways and can't control the direction. Even if the brake is in gear, the driver should not damn step on the brake pedal, but should gradually exert himself.
3. Use downshifting to slow down. If the vehicle speed is high or you need to brake as soon as possible, the driver can brake at the same time: for example, if the gear is in the fourth gear, first move his right foot from the accelerator pedal to the brake pedal, and then quickly press the clutch pedal with his left foot to quickly shift to the third gear. In case of emergency, he can directly shift from 4th gear to 2nd gear or even 1 gear, then pick up the clutch pedal, and then step on the brake pedal with his right foot after the clutch is engaged, but don't step on it at once. Avoid being too nervous.
It is right to be more careful when driving in the ice and snow, but drivers should not be nervous, so as not to lose their response in an emergency because of panic or slowness and be unable to deal with the situation quickly. Relax, slow down, pay attention to the front and three rearview mirrors when driving, and pay attention to the vehicles on the left and right, so as to be aware of it.
5. When driving in the snow and ice, the car can start without refueling, driving alone on the icy road without refueling, and slowly lifting the clutch. If you start to refuel, the wheel torque will be greater. Due to the small adhesion between the wheel and the road surface, the wheel may idle, but it is not easy to start. Moreover, due to the differential, the driving force of the two front wheels is not complete, and the vehicle will deviate from the wheel with high driving force in the opposite direction when driving.
6. Prepare a piece of cotton cloth and drive to clean the glass in the ice and snow. The driver should prepare a piece of cotton cloth on the right hand side, and wipe the fog and mirror on the inside of the window when parking to maintain a good line of sight. If conditions permit, anti-fogging agent can be coated on the interior glass to reduce fogging.
7. Check the wiper and add enough glass water. Before driving on ice and snow, the driver should check whether the amount of wiper and glass water is normal. After the snow on the roof melts, it will flow down from the windshield and can be cleaned with a wiper. Driving on a muddy road, the mud raised by the front car will splash on the front windshield. Spray glass water in time, and then clean it with a wiper to maintain a good line of sight.
