01 Secrets You Can't Tell Lyrics:Fong Wen Shan Curve:Jay Chou Edited by Jay Chou

Personal

Jackie Chou (1979 January 18 - ), is the first person to be born in China. Jay Chou (January 18, 1979 -), nicknamed "Chou Dong" or "Little King Jay Chou", is a singer, songwriter, and lyricist from Taiwan (Taipei). He has largely elevated the status of lyricists and songwriters in the Chinese music industry, and Jay Chou himself is one of the most influential newcomers to Chinese music in the last five years, along with several other well-known Chinese producers such as Wang Leehom and David Tao. Jay's own compositions and vocals, most of which are lyricized by Fong, are more daring than the average pop song in that they venture into never-before-seen subjects, such as domestic violence in "I'm Back, Dad", martial arts in "Double-Cutting Stick", world history in "Love Before Western Era", environmental protection in "Terraces", and the paparazzi in "Chorus from All Sides", all of which have created an impact on the contemporary Chinese music scene. Some say Jay was influenced by Luo Dayou and the god of song, Jacky Cheung, who began to like and create pop music, and these two heavyweights of the Chinese music industry have invariably become Jay's enlightened teachers for entering the pop music world.

Jay Chou's musical style is also very diverse, with his specialties being rhythm and blues (R&B) and rap. His innovative use of Western classical music in his songs includes a Mozart sonata-style crossover in "Nunchucks" and a Gregorian chant at the beginning of "Blue Storm," as well as Chinese martial arts (such as "Nunchucks"). "Nunchucks", "Dragon Fist" and "Huo Yuanjia") or Chinese music (in "Niang Zi", the guitar for the In "Nyonya", the guitar in the scene is played with the rotating fingers of the pipa, and folk music instruments are used: "Chaos Dancing in Spring and Autumn", "Hair Like Snow", etc.). Jay's fusion of Chinese and Western music styles creates a fresh sound that is very different from mainstream Taiwanese music. Some of his songs include recordings of natural environments or everyday objects, which enhance the storytelling of the music (e.g., the chess game in "The General," the camera clicking in "Chorus from All Sides," the phone dialing in "Blue Storm," etc.). "Blue Storm", the sound of dialing a telephone, the sound of a ping-pong ball hitting the ground in "Class 3, Year 2"). In terms of arrangement, his songs are rich in harmony: often the main theme, harmony, rap, and melody will be added layer by layer and faded out layer by layer at the end, which has a sense of hierarchy; the same melody is recorded and played on two tracks at the same time in the left and right ears, which has a three-dimensional chorus effect. His intentionally unclear biting makes the rap part of the song more rhythmic.

Jay Chou's parents divorced when he was a child, and he was raised by his mother.

In elementary school, Jay became obsessed with music and showed an amazing talent. His mother, who had been looking forward to his son's success, chipped in to buy a piano for him. "Playing the piano, he tapped into his potential and slowly built up his musical "capital".

After graduating from high school, Jay didn't go to college and had to work as a waiter in a restaurant, where he was scolded by his boss and had his paycheck deducted.

Then, by chance, Jay was "spotted" by Wu Zongxian, the boss of Taiwan's music industry, and entered Wu's company as a music production assistant. In the meantime, he kept writing songs, but the results were put aside by Wu, some even thrown into the paper basket in front of him.

Jay Chou was not discouraged, and Wu Zongxian was moved by his efforts and promised the singer to sing his songs. However, many famous singers are reluctant to show their voices, because the songs he wrote are too rare and odd One day, Wu Zongxian threw him a chance: 10 days, write 50 songs, then pick 10, sing them yourself and make an album. Finally, his first album came out and immediately became a sensation in the singing world. The second album, "Fantasia," which immediately followed, took the pop music world by storm again.

Bing Xin has a little poem: "The flower of success/people only admired her present bright color/but her buds/soaked with tears of struggle/spilled with blood of sacrifice! Jay Chou's journey to fame is not exactly the most graphic and vivid interpretation of this poem?

Music

1. "Lovely Woman" was originally made for Wu Zongxian to sing (originally, the words had been written by Xian, called "Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter", but Xian said it was not cool. The Ninja was originally intended to be sung by Zhang Huimei, but the result was that she found it unsuitable and returned it.

3. "Dad! I'm back" was originally intended to be sung by Kang Kang (the song was written with Fong Wen Shan and called "Shake My Horse", which was returned when it was handed over to Xian, and then it was written as "Dad! I'm Back" to Kang Kang. He said it was strange to sing, not good to sing and returned)

4. "Indian old turtledove" is to see the Jackie Chan movie "Westfield Dragon" after writing (after watching the movie came back to the lyrics of "black humor" to write "Indian old turtledove" song out, and then the lyrics to draw out. I wrote "The End of the World" immediately after a breakup (I asked my girlfriend to come out to the movies that day, and then the woman came, but brought another man with her, and then broke up with Jay)

6. "Orca" was written after a bathroom break, with a sudden burst of inspiration.

7. "Love in the West before the dollar" at the very beginning of the small voice of the arrangement is Jay himself to do the DEMO demo in the small sample, and then the official arrangement before coming in, the second chorus after the C section is the recording of a sudden thought of the melody to add,,, the lyrics are Fong Wenshan to go to visit the museum after a visit to a museum exhibition after a feeling to write out of the ......

< p>8. Some of the simple Japanese in "Ninja" was learned after watching the Japanese drama, without asking a teacher to teach it.

9. "Tea Brewed by Grandpa" was sung like this when recording the DEMO tape: "Tea brewed by Grandpa, hard to drink, but also to say good~"

10. "Shanghai 1943" Jielen thought of adding the sound of the old gramophone when making the DEMO tape, but then he felt that some people had used it before, and he didn't use this sound.

11. "William Castle" Jielen in the DEMO tape has thought of vampire theme, with MIDI to make the organ, but also in front of the horse hooves and other sound effects, the last "bullfighting" that part of the recording when now added to the.

12. "Quiet" is the song that took the longest time to write for the second album.

13. "Split" was the song that took the longest to write for the third album.

14. "Simple Love" was made on guitar.

15. He used to bring in his schoolmates for the concerts, especially those who could imitate his voice.

16. Jay's love of the piano is like a child of his age trying to eat ice cream. Chen Shiguang, his high school piano teacher, said that when Jay was a teenager, he had an overage knack for improvising. Once, as soon as he sat down, he started playing the national anthem, which was supposed to be very serious, and he adapted it to make it fun, kind of like a pop version of the national anthem.

17. His first published work was Wu Zongxian's Taiwanese-language song "Three All Nights and Three Days"

18. Before he became famous, Jay wrote a song called "Tears to Know", which was recommended to Andy Lau by Wu Zongxian. Liu only glanced at the words, and then shook his head and said, "How can tears know, tears want to know what?" Immediately rejected the song! He really didn't know the good stuff. In the end, it was given to Wen Lan to sing, and the result was awesome. Jay's song. Wenshan Fang's lyrics. The song is on Wen Lan's "A Little Bit Wild" album.

19. The first collaborative release between Jay and Fong was: "The Sound of Falling Rain", written for Jiang Hui.

20. "Niang Zi", the Rap part of the song was improvised by Jay himself, and Fong even questioned Jay about it, thinking that even if he had to add the Rap part, he would write flawless Rap lyrics. Jay, who is also very stubborn about his own music, said that he couldn't change what he was feeling at that moment, which made Fong a bit of a pain in the ass.

21. Jay admires Fong from the bottom of his heart! "Don't look at him like this, but he's actually a really cool weirdo! He's got a bunch of weird ideas in his head! For example, he wrote me three versions of 'Old Indian Turtle Dove', one of which was actually satirical and sarcastic. But then, after consideration, I thought, "I've got Eminem and Zhang Zhenyue doing the cursing, so I'll just go for the 'funny' route?

22. Fong revealed that there were actually two versions of the lyrics for the song "Shanghai 1943", one was the "Shanghai" version and the other was a love song titled "no interest". Fang turned over the lyrics of the song "No Interest", "I hate myself for falling in love with you without any interest, just to say that you are also here, just like this I love you without any reason, please believe that no one can replace you...". Speaking, he was embarrassed to say, "It's really too vulgar, and too many people write songs that talk about love like this, at first the company felt it was safer to write a love song, but Jay and I both felt it was better to have the Shanghai version."

23. The title of the song "Love Cliff" was originally called "Falling into the Cliff".

24. The title of the song "You Can Hear Me" was originally called: Dependence.

25. 'You Can Hear Me' left the ambush line.

Fans who listen carefully will find ...... "You can hear" at about 2:10,, is: only you can hear ......

This line Jay has already explained on the radio is intentionally to make the effect of the use of computers to make the

If someone listened to the CD backwards they would have heard it.

26. The song that took the most time to be sung in "Yeh Hye Mi": "Love Cliff"

27. "3 Years 2 Class" took the radio to say that the guy in the report from the guidance office was a friend of his (who is the younger brother of Jong from SBDW) ...... And the most important thing is that that guy appeared in the first three albums again.

"Bullfighting": want to pick it, pick it~~

"Dad! I'm Back": you go away~~

"Peninsula Iron Box": Miss~ please ask if there is a Peninsula Iron Box for sale~

Director's Part

In 2007, Jay directed his own original story work, "Can't Tell the Secret", and acted as the male lead in it, with which Gui Lun-mei portrayed the role of Lu Xiaoyu to interpret a touching love story.

Lady Guey Lun-mei commented in an interview that "Unspeakable Secrets" is the most relaxing and comfortable movie she has ever appeared in, and Guey Lun-mei also complimented Jay Chou on his very high EQ, and his very thoughtful compositions and subplots.

"Unspeakable Secret" not only won good reputation, but also won very good box office.

In "Can't Tell a Secret", Jay's identities are: director, original story, starring role and movie music.

Jay Chou and Guey Lun-mei were in Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Singapore, Hong Kong and Taipei to promote their new movie "Can't Tell a Secret".
