In fact, this description is wrong, at least inaccurate, because ripples are generally used in still water, such as ripples in ponds and ripples in quiet lakes. How can water ripple again when it flows eastward? This is a mistake.
There is also the ruthlessness of autumn wind and the ruthlessness of running water. There is a lack of transition between the two sentences and the style of writing is broken, not for writing.
