Wordsworth's Modern Poetry

William wordsworth (1770— 1850), an English romantic poet, was once a poet laureate. His poetic theory has shaken the rule of English classical poetics and strongly promoted the innovation of English poetry and the development of Romantic movement. He is one of the most important English poets since the Renaissance, and his poem "Simple Life and Noble Ideas" is regarded as the school motto of Cable College of Oxford University. The following is a collection of Wordsworth's modern poems. Welcome to reading.

First, "she lives on a lonely road"

She lives on a lonely road,

Living near the wild pigeon spring,

No one praised her as a girl,

Few people will fall in love with her:

A violet from Shimada Hanzo,

Open next to a mossy stone;

It's as beautiful as a star—

Hanging in the sky uniquely.

She was silent when she was alive,

No one was around when he died;

But Lucy has been buried in the grave!

For me, everything has changed!

Second, "Lonely Maid"

Look, a lonely plateau girl.

Harvesting in distant fields,

Singing alone while cutting,-

Please stop. Or quietly walk by!

She cut and tied the wheat alone,

Sing a song of infinite sadness,

Hold your breath and listen! A deep and wide valley

It has been filled with songs and overflowed!

There was never a nightingale,

Singing such a charming song,

In the shade of the desert

Comfort tired passengers;

No cuckoo has ever welcomed spring,

The sound of crying is so shocking to the soul,

In the remote Huberley Islands.

Break the loneliness of the sea.

What does she sing? Who can tell me?

Sad notes keep flowing,

Are you telling that distant story?

Is it to carry the ancient war?

Maybe her songs are humble,

Just sing today's ordinary joys and sorrows,

Sing the sadness and pain of nature—

After what happened yesterday, will we meet again tomorrow?

I can't guess what this girl sings,

Her songs are like endless running water;

I saw her singing and working,

Bend over and wave the sickle, and work endlessly ...

I listened attentively to her singing,

Then, when I climbed up the mountain,

Although the song is no longer audible,

It still haunts my mind.

Third, on Westminster Bridge.

There is no more beautiful scenery on earth than here;

If anyone is interested in such a magnificent and moving scene,

Indifference, that is the numbness of the soul;

Looking at this city is like putting on a new robe.

Open the bright morning light; Look around:

Ships, minarets, theaters, churches, buildings,

Everything is quiet and calm, exposed to the countryside and the sky,

Shining in the unpolluted atmosphere.

The rising sun shines on the canyon hills,

Nothing is more beautiful than this morning light;

I saw and felt this deep peace!

Crawl on the river and let your own thoughts;

Oh, my god Thousands of families are sleeping,

This great heart is still resting!

Fourth, "I am completely at a loss."

A loss flooded my mind;

I don't have human fears:

It seems that over the years,

She won't feel anything anymore.

Now she is motionless and lifeless;

Can't hear or see;

Only trees and rocks,

Circle with the earth every day.

5. "I have been wandering in a foreign land overseas."

I am wandering in a foreign land overseas,

Among strangers;

England, only then,

I know how much I love you.

That melancholy dream is gone forever!

I don't want to leave you again-

Don't want to leave your shore again, because,

It seems that I love you more and more.

I used to feel the happiness I longed for—

Between your mountains;

My dear, she once rocked the spinning wheel-

By the fire in my hometown.

Show during the day and hide at night.

The pavilion where Lucy stayed;

Lucy saw this land for the last time.

It's your green space.

Six, "I roam alone, like a cloud"

I wander alone, like a cloud.

Floating on hills and valleys,

Suddenly I saw a group of people.

Golden daffodils bloom in spring,

In the shade, by the lake,

Dance in the breeze.

Continuous, like bright stars,

Shining in the milky way,

They walked along the edge of the lake bay

Extend into an endless line;

I saw 10 thousand flowers at a glance,

The ups and downs in dance.

The sparkling waves are dancing,

The joy of daffodils is better than water waves;

With such a happy partner,

How can a poet be dissatisfied with his happiness!

I stared at it for a long time, but I just couldn't imagine it.

How much wealth has this miracle given me?

Every time I lie awake in bed,

Either my mind is empty, or I meditate silently,

They often flash in my mind,

That is the happiness in loneliness;

So my heart is full of happiness,

Dancing with daffodils.

Seven, "I had a whim"

It occurred to me,

I also dare to speak frankly.

(However, only lovers can hear)

What happened to me here.

At that time, my love was radiant,

Like the color of June roses;

At night. In the faint moonlight.

I walked to her cabin.

I stared at the moon,

Walk across the vast plains;

My horse stepped up,

Set foot on my beloved road.

We came to the orchard, and then

Climb the mountain again,

At this time, the moon is slowly setting.

Near Lucy's roof.

I fell into a tender dream-

A treasure given by nature!

My eyes are always fixed.

The slowly falling moon wheel.

My horse won't stop,

Jump forward step by step:

Suddenly, I saw the bright moon.

Sink behind the hut.

What a strange idea, stupid and confused,

Will sneak into your lover's heart!

"My God!" I shouted to myself:

"In case Lucy dies!"

Eight, "Narcissus"

I wander alone, like a lonely cloud.

Fly over canyons and hilltops;

Suddenly I saw a dense group-

It is a huge golden daffodil;

They are in the shade,

Dance gracefully in the breeze.

Like the stars of the Milky Way—

Reflecting the night sky, dark and bright;

Narcissus is on the shore of the lake bay.

A Huang Cancan stretches forward;

I can see thousands at a glance-

Turn your head when dancing.

Water waves dance everywhere, but daffodils

Dancing is happier than sparkling water waves;

With such a happy friend,

The poet's heart is full of happiness!

I read it again and again, but it's hard to understand.

What wealth did this scene give me:

Because, sometimes my mood is at a loss.

Or lie on the sofa and think hard,

This daffodil often flashes in front of my eyes,

Let me put the lonely Fuan family-

At this time, my heart is full of joy.

Dancing with daffodils.
