Ode to a Pear Blossom What is it

Ode to the Pear Blossom is the theme song of the large-scale symphonic Peking Opera "The Great Tang Noble Consort". The Great Tang Noble Concubine is about the story of Yang Guifei, combined with the Mei School repertoire of The Drunken Concubine and Tai Zhen Xie Zi.

The love story between Emperor Xuanzong Li Longji of Tang, the founder of the Pear Garden, Emperor Minghuang of Tang, and his consort Yang Yuhuan (Yang Guifei). Yang Guifei was a beautiful woman who could sing and dance well; Tang Minghuang was a scholar and a martial artist who could also act and play the drums. Yang Yuhuan, a beautiful woman, was appointed by Emperor Xuanzong as a concubine to lead the harem. When Yang Yuhuan first met Emperor Xuanzong, she was dressed as a Taoist priest and was called Taizhen. She was then incorporated into the harem and named as the Noble Consort. Yang Guifei's color and skill were very popular, and her siblings were also granted titles because of her shade. Because Yang Guifei loved lychee, Emperor Xuanzong ordered the provinces to pay tribute to the lychee, "One ride on the red dust consort laughs, no one knows it's lychee."
