: Notes for traveling
1. Zhanjiang has a subtropical monsoon and monsoon humid climate. In summer, this island is very hot, a lot of mosquitoes. Pay attention to anti-mosquito and sunscreen.
2. Tetzin Island is a tourist destination, the island will be offered to help lead the way or live in the hotel. For security reasons, it is not recommended to ignore; (usually high-priced scams)
3. The price of restaurants on the island will be slightly more expensive than in the city, but the seafood is very fresh and can be tasted at your discretion.
Eating on the island
There are not many places to eat on the island. The biggest one is called Seaview Fishing Village on Tetsing Island, which specializes in Cantonese cuisine and seafood. It's near the entrance, at the foot of the Wishing Tree.
The food inside is usually 10-15 dollars more expensive than in the city, with a wide variety of dishes and generous portions. Unfortunately, the sea wasn't open when we were there and the seafood supply was very small. When we were late, we could only have some mixed fish soup, but it was very good!
Transportation
From everywhere to Zhanjiang. Zhanjiang city is easily accessible by bus, train and plane.
There are two routes from downtown to Tetsing Island:
1. Xiaoshan Maritime Bureau Wharf (recommended):Take a taxi from downtown to Tetsing Island Tourist Wharf (just tell the cab driver you want to go to Tetsing Island Wharf), and then take the Tetsing Island Vacation Cruise to Tetsing Island at the wharf.
2. Xiashan seaside pier: take the bus to Xiashan sub-station, walk 200 meters to the seaside pier, take the Tetsing Island ferry.
Ferry opening hours: 8:00-19:30 (half an hour), 19:30-23:30 (one hour). The ferry from Tetsumi Island to the city is usually about 15 minutes later than the departure time, but this still depends on the day.
The round-trip ferry fare is 40 yuan. children under 1.2m are free. There are discounts for senior citizen cards, student cards, military cards, and disability cards. For more information, please contact the ticket office~ There will be a 60% discount for booking tickets on Ctrip!
The ferry is for one person, but the sitting position is not right. Those who like to sit by the window and watch the sea can speed up. It's okay if you don't get a good seat. Just take a 10-minute boat ride and have fun on the island!
Techeng Island
Entrance Cabin
When we got off the ferry, the sea breeze greeted us. Although you can already see the blue sky and blue water of Zhanjiang, the beauty of Techeng Island is even worse. There are no skyscrapers, no busy traffic, so you can't help but mistake it for being in a paradise.
The entrance to Special Island is very distinctive. A long wooden walkway with flags of various countries at both ends, and wooden hut platforms set up every few dozen meters for tourists to take photos. It also provides a time to organize your mood, leave all your usual worries behind, and relax on the island!
The platform of the welcoming trestle has been made into a seaside hut, very much like the Maldives, and the fishing boats moored nearby keep reminding us that this is Zhanjiang, the southernmost tip of mainland China.
After going to the island, looking back at the long welcome walkway, it is still amazing. Blue sky, white clouds, sea water, sandy beaches, wooden houses, everything was welcoming us.
After the welcome path, there is a big anchor at the entrance that says "Specialized Fishing Island Resort", just like the signboard at the entrance of every village. Seeing this anchor meant that we had really set foot on the beautiful Tetsubo Island.
There's bicyc
Don't rush into the island just yet! There's another must-see attraction near the entrance, namely those huge abandoned cruise ships on the beach!
The island of Tetzin is full of landscaping vignettes, the most distinctive being the various small boats. These are vehicles that used to travel to and from downtown on Tetsubo Island, and were abandoned and placed on the island as exhibits for tourists to see.
Though the boat's hull is rusty, looking up at the mast under the blue sky, you can still imagine its former glory.
Special Cabin Accommodation You Can't Experience
The most fun you can have on Sungdo is 2 days and 1 night, so the first thing you need to tackle before playing is accommodation. It is highly recommended here that you must experience the special triangular wooden huts at the Tetsubo Island Resort!
When I first saw it, I absolutely loved it. The distinctive huts are located right on the beach, literally "facing the sea, blossoming in spring". Just imagine yourself waking up in the morning, pushing open the door to a wide, serene sea, and you'll be dancing on the spot with excitement!
This is my favorite! Super special! Triangle Hut! It's awesome, it's stupid! Like ancient cavemen (mis)
Well, there are actually other unique houses on the island to experience. Prices for accommodations vary from location to location. You can also choose according to your preference once you are on the island.
It should be noted that the island is not like the city, the accommodation will be relatively simple, 24 hours may not have hot water, be prepared.
In addition to the flavor of the hut, there are beach view room, thatched roof, ordinary room. They are located on the beach, in the middle of the island and deep in the island. In fact, the whole island is a resort, haha.
The other accommodation on the island is good and the price is 40 dollars cheaper than the resort.
Spending the night on Tetse Island is all about walking with the sunset! I can miss all sorts of sights, but I can't miss the sunset!
Without saying anything, the camera stands up in 3, 2, 1 - jump up!
Zhanjiang
The next day, you can ride your bike around Tetsing Island. There are a lot of attractions on the island, walking and shooting is very comfortable and cozy.
If it's fall or winter, you can also try the hot springs on the island, which is said to be very famous. When I went there, it was summer, and basically all the hot springs were closed (I think no one would go to a tropical island to take a dip in a hot spring in the summer).
The sun is fierce during the day, so be prepared for the heat and bring enough water and dry food.
Mango grass blowing in the wind all over the world, why this place is so beautiful!
The pond is filled with lotus flowers, and the summer heat is offset by green eyes.
Blue skies, grass, hedges, and paths. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, the tranquility of the island immerses you in another world.
A special Japanese-style courtyard. When you walk in, there is a hot spring, which is closed in summer~
When you go to the beach, if you are lucky, you will see local fishermen fishing in the sea. You can talk to them if you are interested. The locals are very welcoming and may even give you a small fish or two.
Although Chengdu Island is the largest tourist island in Zhanjiang, there are still many local residents on the island. Fishing is their livelihood and they work at sunrise and sunset every day. Most of the seafood in the island's restaurants comes from local residents.
There are many small boats moored on the beach in twos and threes, which are very beautiful against the blue sky.
The two-day and one-night trip is either long or short. You can start preparing for your departure and return flights around 3-5pm.
If you're staying at the Tetzin Island Resort, after you check out, a battery-operated vehicle will take you directly to the entrance for the ferry.
tip
If say you didn't get a window seat on the way in, make sure you grab a window seat on the way back!
Because most people board the island in the morning and return in the afternoon, and in the afternoon, the sun is not as harsh as it is in the morning, and at this time even if you look directly at the sea, you won't be dazzled by the reflections in your eyes, and keep your eyes on the sea near the hull of the boat, and you'll see an unforgettable sight--
Numerous fishes are rumbled by the rumbling of the disturbed by the sound of the motor, scrambling to leap out of the water as seagulls swoop straight down for the long-awaited feeding frenzy.
:010The spectacular scene staged on the sparkling sea is a send-off gift from Tetsubo.

Into Weizhou Island
Weizhou Island is an island formed by the eruption of underwater volcano about 200,000-500,000 years ago.
There is - the famous tourist resort of Nayanhai Beach in South China, the ideal natural seawater bathing spot on the island, and the Weizhou Island Lighthouse, one of the world's top three lighthouses, which is on a par with the lighthouses in London and the Cape of Good Hope. There are also many famous monuments, such as the ruins of the Song Imperial City, Xianglong Academy, Bajiao Wells, Song Huangbei and Song Huangting.
Zhanjiang was "leased" by France in 1899. It was then called "Guangzhou Bay", and foreign trade flourished for a while. 1943, Guangzhou Bay was occupied by the Japanese, and after the victory in the war in 1945, Guangzhou Bay was returned to the city and named "Zhanjiang". However, Weizhou Island was once included in the French Concession of Guangzhou Bay.
Weizhou Island is a rich fishing ground on the continental shelf of the South China Sea. It is rich in Weizhou abalone, lobster and other world-famous and valuable aquatic products.
The prosperous fishing harbor is also a major sight on Weizhou Island. Hundreds of fishing boats gather on the sea near the pier. At night, all the houses are lit up and fishing songs are sung, as if it is a "city on the sea" connected by boats. If you come to play on the island, you can't miss this lively scene.

Into Techeng Island
In the scenic Zhanjiang Bay, there is such a beautiful island, Techeng Island. "Tet Thanh" is an ancient Vietnamese word, "Tet" means place and "Thanh" means harmony and good fortune. The villagers on the island have made a living by fishing for generations. Xie Jin, a scholar in the Ming Dynasty, once climbed onto Tet Island and left a poem in seven lines entitled "Title of Wentong Pavilion on Tet Mountain". "The wind sends the sound of the tide to peace, and the rain floats the color of the mountains. The land is blessed to be born out of the world, and has its own natural talent." It depicts the beautiful scenery and unique island life of Techeng Island. In modern times, Tetzin Island became a fortress for the people of Guangdong to fight against foreign invaders. With wisdom and courage, Teren guarded this island fishing village with profound details. Half of the island is surrounded by mangrove forests. The ancient trees in the sea have grown for thousands of years, dense and verdant, and birds of prey fly about. When you enter the forest at low tide, you can only see pots of thick mangrove tree roots, curved trunks, blooming branches and leaves, strings of fruits and beads, which give you a sense of spirit and strength. At the edge of the mangrove stands the shrine of Mrs. Xian, the first heroine in Chinese history. This heroine of 2,000 years ago gave her life's work to preserve the history of national unity and solidarity. She also led troops to the island of Tetzin, beating back the sea port and keeping the island safe. The people were moved to set up a temple to commemorate her, and the incense burned for a thousand years. After visiting Lady Xian, she traveled through the island's fisherman's village to the northeast. She was introduced to a "sea fishing village" a few miles away in Fangyuan. This is the largest "fish raft" base in western Guangdong, supplying Zhanjiang and the Pearl River Delta with a steady stream of fish and conch.
Arrival and departure: you can take a plane, train, car to Zhanjiang; buses, cabs, etc. to the Xiashan sub-station; walk 200 meters to the seaside pier, and then take the Techeng Island ferry.
