Central - Yung Shue Wan: From Pier 4 of the Outlying Islands Ferry Terminal. There are ordinary and fast ferries running. Ordinary ferries take about 35 minutes and fast ferries take about 20 minutes.

Monday to Saturday fares: Ordinary ferries cost HK$10, fast ferries HK$15. Ferries run every 15-60 minutes between 6:30pm and 0:30pm late at night.

Sunday and holiday fares: Ordinary ferries cost HK$14, fast ferries HK$20. Boats run every 15-50 minutes between 7:30pm and 0:30pm late at night.

Central - Sok Kwu Wan: departs from Pier 4 of the Outlying Islands Ferry Terminal. All ferries are room fast ferries. About 25 minutes.

Ferry from Aberdeen: 10 sailings between 6:30-20:15 Monday to Saturday***. There are 15 ferries between 7:00-19:30 on Sundays and holidays***.

Accommodation

There is an accommodation called Lamma Island Youth Camp on top of the Lamma Island Carrot Trail, where accommodation is very cheap. There is also the option of staying in a vacation house built by local villagers, which also feels very unique.

South Island Bookworm: A western restaurant, cafe and bookstore all in one, the aroma of books and food hits you at the same time when you push the door.

ShellyExpress: a palm-sized cafe, the most famous is the tofu cheese, at $30 a piece. There are also other flavors of cheesecake, making it a must-see for cheese fans.

Jianxing Yabu Tofu Flower: The island's most famous snack, it has been in business for decades, and still uses the most traditional method to make the bean curd flower. The bean curd flower is so smooth that it is almost gone as soon as you enter the mouth. Tofu flower costs 6 yuan a bowl, and soy milk is 5 yuan a bowl.
