"Seeing Pingyao Again" is an original project in which the team of Seeing Again is committed to innovation and has made a major breakthrough. As the founder and leader of large-scale live-action performances in China, the team of Seeing Again has realized new creativity, breakthroughs, and leaps in "Seeing Pingyao Again," which has moved from outdoor live-action performances to indoor situational experiences, and "Seeing Pingyao Again" will not only be the first show that the team of Seeing Again has created in the North, but also the first large-scale situational experience performance project in China. It will not only be the first show created by the team in the north, but also the first large-scale contextual experience show in China.
The Pingyao Cultural Tourism Industrial Zone covers a total area of 350 acres.
The industrial zone*** is divided into three main sections: a performance area based on the "Seeing Pingyao Again" theater, a supporting area for tourism services based on a parking lot, and a cultural tourism exhibition area based on a themed pedestrian street.
The project was completed in three phases.
"Seeing Pingyao Again" has five phases from planning to performance:
1. From March to October 2011, it is the stage of negotiation and signing.

2. From October 2011 to March 2012, it was the stage of restructuring, dismantling and relocation, preliminary preparations and the creative planning of "Seeing Pingyao Again".
In the face of time constraints, difficulties in restructuring, demolition and relocation, and cumbersome procedures, the Pingyao County Party Committee and the county *** bit down on the goal without wavering, and did not flinch from the problem, with one week of regular meetings and one day of briefings to fight against the backdrop of the battle.
In 1 month, 13 units were vacated and relocated, 150 people were restructured in 2 months, 38,000 square meters were demolished and relocated in 2 months, and preparations for the project's pre-production formalities were completed.
In the face of the large contrast between off-peak and on-peak seasons in the north, and the low consumption of tourism in Pingyao, the Fresh Look team investigated and researched the project in detail, and with the spirit of pursuing innovation and excellence, the team completed the conceptual and creative planning for Fresh Look Pingyao on December 25, 2011, and the creative results were officially finalized on March 7, 2011.
3. From March 10 to July 31, 2012, the main construction phase of the theater was completed.

4. From August 1 to October 15, 2012, the sound, light, and electricity installation phase of the theater was completed, and from August onwards, the project's operation and publicity will become the focus of the work.

Since the signing of the contract for this project in Pingyao Ancient City on October 13, 2011, the various construction units have been working hard day and night in the spirit of striving for glory for Pingyao Ancient City, and have achieved a preliminary victory in the construction of the entire project, the antique building portion of the main project of the Performing Arts Project, which is an important carrier for the overall reflection of the architectural culture of Pingyao Ancient City. In order to make this project a high-standard, all-round response to the architectural style of the ancient city of Pingyao at its peak, the municipal party committee of Jinzhong *** and the county party committee of Pingyao County *** have attached great importance to the project.
The project department of "Seeing Pingyao Again" chose the four most powerful ancient building construction units in Pingyao Ancient City, strictly adopted the traditional construction technology and building techniques, deployed the best soldiers and strong generals, scientifically and reasonably arranged the construction, and carefully organized the construction, so that the antique building parts were all completed in just two months.
The construction of the "Seeing Pingyao Again" performance project has created Pingyao speed and demonstrated the Pingyao spirit.

Peering through the fragments According to those who have seen the show, the theater of the experience "Pingyao" has a complex and peculiar spatial division that is completely different from that of traditional theaters: there is no vestibule, no main entrance, no auditorium, and no traditional stage.
The audience enters the theater through different doors and walks through several thematic spaces of different shapes and sizes over the course of 90 minutes.
The performers go deeper into the audience, moving in and out of the crowd and even talking to them, giving them a chance to be part of the play and interact with it.
