Yu Junjian is a native of Nantong, Jiangsu Province, and was born in Guilin, Guangxi Province. He graduated from the China Conservatory of Music, the postgraduate program of the Department of Art at Peking University, and the first postgraduate program of birds and flowers at the Chinese Painting Research Institute. Director of the Performing Arts Center of the China Federation of Literary and Artistic Associations.
