Entering Nepal, Zhangmu Port was closed due to the earthquake, and now Geelong Port is open. The roads in Nepal are not paved, but there are craters and stones everywhere. At the mountain pass in Nepal, I bargained with the jeep driver to prepare for the first stop in Nepal, Kathmandu.
After entering the customs, all passengers got off the bus less than a few kilometers and were inspected by Nepal Immigration Bureau. On the way to Kathmandu, they have to pass seven or eight checkpoints. Some simply check their passports, and some checkpoints have to open their bags one by one. Many checkpoints are also particularly time-consuming.
On the way into Nepal to Kathmandu, after seven or eight checkpoints, it was already afternoon, and everyone was hungry. The driver took us to a roadside shop and stopped for dinner. This is the first meal in Nepal and the most expensive simple meal in Nepal. The reason is self-evident. I just ate two bites and went to the convenience store behind the restaurant with curiosity.
The first meal in Nepal is very expensive and tastes mediocre. It is conceivable that drivers eat for free. There is no way to enter Nepal, and the most expensive simple meals will be free at the destination.
Yesterday, we set out from Geelong Town to the border inspection port, and we had to take a 20-kilometer local bus to the port. Who knows that the car was illegally operated and was detained at the checkpoint. It was delayed for an hour, and it was close to noon when we arrived at the border checkpoint. Go through the customs before work! For various reasons, it was already dark when we arrived in Kadu. After all kinds of instructions, I finally arrived in Tamil, and I had no time to take care of people and things around me. All that remains is to find a hotel quickly. Finding a place to live is much worse, but it's midnight and we have to make do. It's easy to wait until dawn. I have nothing to say after sleeping all night!
Tamil is still very lively at midnight. All kinds of bars and discos are very lively. The streets in Tamil areas are narrow, but very lively. Most shops on both sides of the street are still open. Jewelry, jade and turquoise seem to be sold only to China people.
Du Jia bus station
The road from Geelong Port to Kadu is less than 200 kilometers. Due to poor road conditions and many checkpoints, it is already after dark at night from noon to the card. I quickly found a place to have a rest, and the next morning I went directly to the bus station to go to Boccara, the most wanted place for this trip.
Boccara is the second largest city in Nepal and a favorite city for tourists and hikers. The famous Feiwa Lake quietly leans against the majestic Fish-tail Peak, a sacred mountain in Nepal, which is equivalent to the status of Mount Everest in the eyes of China people. Whenever the hotel by the lake opens in the evening to welcome guests, the guitar sounds suddenly, the birds and songs in the sky compete with each other, and a canoe floats gently into the distance on the calm lake. ...
When I arrived in Boccara, the temperature immediately became comfortable. I worked as a down jacket at the port yesterday. When it's over 20 degrees in Boccara, you can wear short sleeves directly. It is really comfortable.
Boccara all the way west. ...
After a long journey, I arrived in Boccara just after dark and found a hotel to put down my luggage and go out for dinner.
The distance from Kadu to Boccara is not far, but the road conditions are not good. Going to Boccara by car in the morning is another day. People stop to eat when they are tired, and don't eat much when they see that the sanitary conditions are not very good. Out of the hotel, they discussed how to treat themselves in the evening, walked into a good western restaurant and drank a bottle of red wine after dinner to relieve the fatigue of the day.

In the last century, a young couple from Europe and America sang songs across Europe and came to Fava Lake. Their footsteps stopped. The hotel on Lake Fava opened its doors to welcome guests. Suddenly, the guitar sounded and the birds and songs in the sky competed with each other. Asians came to Nepal to find their spiritual home. When they came to Boccara, they stopped in a hurry as part of the famous hippie movement.
Boccara is regarded by them as the "edge" of the world. Why do "hippies" who rebel against secularism and pursue spiritual freedom camp in Boccara? What did they find here?
When they set up tents and lit bonfires by Fava Lake, when the snow-capped mountains were reflected in the water, and when the eagle crossed the sky, perhaps all the questions were answered at this moment. Today, "hippies" have long been a historical relic, and today's Boccara is still peaceful.
I had a dream last night. I woke up in the morning and crossed this road again. I can hear the wind whispering to me. Never stop peace and love. We will sing with our hearts.
