Fake Musician

Appreciation of The Story of a Dreamer

-The False Musician

Wen\Yanjin Liu

This animated movie shows the ups and downs of the plot with the clues of Miguel, the main character's love of music. Miguel's great-great-grandfather, Hector Rivera, was a musician. Miguel's great-great-grandfather, Hector Rivera, was a musician. He left his family to work as a music singer and disappeared, never to enter the house again. His great-great-grandmother, Melda, looked forward to the return of her husband, but there was no news, and her hatred was greater than her disappointment. The burden of the family's life fell on her shoulders. She had to find a way to survive in shoemaking, and became known as a shoemaker's family. From great-great-grandmother, great-grandmother, and grandmother to Miguel's parents passed down four generations of shoemaking craft, and even Miguel fifth generation here will not be passed on. Miguel loved to play the piano and sing, and he inherited his musicality from his great-great-grandfather, Hector Rivera. His great-great-grandfather, Hector Rivera. This was not allowed in the family. His great-great-grandmother Melda, who had already passed away, had already transferred her hatred of her husband to her grandchildren, and there was no Victor Rivera in the family tree or on the altar of the dead. There was no Victor Rivera in the family tree or on the altar of the dead. Melda hated her husband and hated music. As a result, the family, with the exception of the great-grandmother, Coco, who sat in a wicker chair all day and rested her eyes, the grandmothers strongly objected to Miguel's going to the concerts. His beloved dog - Dandan - always does him a favor and helps him out in critical moments.

Miguel makes his own guitar and wants to perform at the talent contest Music Square. Who knows, Grandma Zu found out, and in a fit of rage, broke Miguel's guitar. He doesn't have a violin to play. He ran with Dan Dan to his great-great-grandfather's cemetery. Mistakenly believing that the hanging portrait of Gracchus, the king of song, was his great-great-grandfather, a cello was placed in front of it. Miguel removes the cello, not realizing that a ghost has found it, chasing him and Dandan so hard that they unintentionally fall into the world of ghosts. There are cemeteries everywhere, and the dead are everywhere. In full bloom, as if it were Polaris. Illusions and phantoms, mountains beyond mountains, buildings beyond buildings, a landscape wonderland, also dreams and fantasies, the undead living the life of the warbler in Elysium. This shows that people are not terrible after death, but more fun than on earth.

In the world of ghosts, Miguel meets his great-great-grandfather Gracchus, who, unexpectedly, wishes him an early death. It turns out that Gracchus is an impostor who has been dominating the stage as the king of song. Until Miguel meets Victor Rivera, a poor undead man. Miguel meets Viktor Rivera, a poor dead man - a musician and Miguel's great-great-grandfather, who is not even allowed to live in peace after his death, and has not even been given a name for his existence in the netherworld. There was not even an offering or a picture of him because his relatives in the yang world had banished him from the family long ago. His soul wandered around, pitifully. At the Ghost Festival, he can't cross the Petal Bridge, he can't go back home, he can't see his relatives, and he misses his daughter Coco too much. He complained to Miguel about his grievances, and begged Miguel to bring his incomplete photo back to the yang world and put it on the family's offerings, so that he would have a recognized name in the netherworld, and would live a free and happy life. Miguel, however, thought he was being selfish, thinking only of himself, and simply returned the photo to him.

When Rivera reveals his harmful and scandalous behavior to Gracchus, the brats shame Rivera for choking to death on a sausage. Rivera explains it as food poisoning. The truth is that in the early years Rivera and Gracchus were musical partners, and Rivera offered to leave and quit. Just before Rivera was to leave, Gracchus took advantage of him and gave him a glass of poisoned water, and he flopped to his death with thoughts of his loved ones. Gracchus took all the scores of Rivera's lyrics and compositions for himself.

Gracchus is exposed, and Miguel finally figures out that Rivera is the real King of Song, his true great-great-grandfather. In a fit of rage, Gracchus throws Miguel into a pool of death, and Miguel calls out and fixes his eyes on Rivera, who is there, and the grandchildren embrace and speak affectionate words. Recalling the musical times when Rivera was alive, the father who is a father wrote a song just for his daughter Coco: "Please Remember Me", full of deep emotion to sing to Coco. The scene of father and daughter coming together was y affecting. The scene of a happy family, with Rivera playing the piano and his wife Melda singing, is mesmerizing!

Miguel takes the half-image from his great-great-grandfather's hand and presses it to his chest, thinking to himself that he must bring his great-great-grandfather's picture back.

The truth comes out when Melda learns that her husband Rivera was killed by Gracchus, easing her hatred of her husband, and also to claim Gracchus! Melda comes to the Dead Pool to rescue her grandchildren with her undead guide, and Miguel's dog, Dandan, all flying out in the undead guide. Melda helped her husband Rivera punish the deserving Gracchus severely. The audience offstage would no longer allow Gracchus to sing onstage and hurled hard objects raining down on him. This demon lived and died by the great bell!

Miguel, with the blessing of his great-great-grandfather Rivera and great-great-grandmother Melda, returned to earth and home before dawn. Miguel goes to Great-Grandma Coco's room and uses music to awaken Coco's memories of the past, as Coco pines for her father, who sings to the world. She takes the family photo out of the box, and her father's headshot is torn off by her mother. She takes her father's headshot from Miguel, and it just matches up, complete with the picture. Coco hasn't forgotten the song her father wrote for her, Remember Me.

Miguel's wish to become a musician is realized, and no one stands in his way anymore, as the family gathers around him to listen to him play.

This movie illustrates the good and the evil in human nature, where evil is rewarded with good and good is rewarded with good, and it's not unrewarded, it's not time. The real musician is great-great-grandfather, not the fake musician who is reviled by all.
