Cost: With the flight time, it was ****11 days. Not including shopping, etc., it cost about 6000 bucks. Since I went alone, I didn't have to save on lodging/chartering. If two people go, you should still be able to save a full amount.
Itinerary: Nasa Dua ---- Ubud (Kintamani / Bedugul) ---- Lovina ---- Kuta ----- Yogyakarta ----Kuta
Line:
Airline:
Airline tickets: If you are friends of the South, if you have the conditions, it is best to directly through the Hong Kong travel agency booking the Hong Kong round-trip Bali Airfare, about a few hundred dollars cheaper than in the mainland travel agency booking. I this time through the Hong Kong travel agency booked Hong Kong round-trip Bali air tickets, Eagle Airlines, plus tax *** about 2600, I asked the mainland travel agency, to more than 3000. The downside is that you have to change planes in Jakarta, and you have to spend one night in Jakarta on the return trip. The airports in Jakarta and Bali are open 24 hours, but they don't allow you to stay in the airport. My previous plan to spend the night in an airport recliner didn't work out. Tickets to Yogyakarta are sold everywhere in Bali. The earlier you book, the cheaper it is. The first two are the airport tax for domestic flights, and the one at Jakarta airport is for international flights, so I don't know how much they charge for domestic flights.)
Chartered buses: as many people have said, it's about 240RMB or so. I didn't even look for that very famous what Piyu, directly in GH ask the counter to help find the driver, can bargain. The ones I met were good, very honest, and didn't look for a chance to ask for more money.
Inland transportation, Perama Bus is highly recommended, it is really a good friend for backpackers. Cheap and good service. It's cheap and good service. There are many places to go, including airport/kuta/ubud/sanur/bedugul/lovina, etc. You can ask for a pick up and drop off at your hotel. You can ask for a car to pick up and drop off at your hotel, RP5000 each time. the car is quite clean. This time round trip kuta / ubud / lovina are by Perama Bus, but found that the car is mostly foreigners, Asian only met a Taiwan girl and Japanese. I didn't see many compatriots from the mainland, I guess there are meters of chartered buses. The city center of Yogyakarta mostly use tricycles. Remember to bargain, the driver is to see outsiders open price. Once a local man helped me find a tricycle, probably less than ten minutes, only charged me 1000 rupiah.
Housing: If your English is not too bad, you can book online beforehand. The price is usually discounted, not more expensive than if you booked at the counter. The website is like www.balihotel.com etc., or directly on the hotel's webpage to book.
Kuta: GHs are mostly located in Popies I and II. I met a Taiwanese girl who stayed in one for 30,000RMB, and the environment is said to be very average. Masa Inn is very famous on the internet, about 175,000RMB, but I think it's too expensive, and it's often full. There are a couple of similar GH's opening up next to Masa Inn now, with clean and large rooms and a pool. I stayed at La walun (I think that's the name, right next to Masa Inn), fan/hot water/double room with breakfast and tax for 120000 INR.
Ubud: GH is very decentralized, just look against that map that is widely circulated on the net. Prices range from 40,000 --- 300,000. If you are not in a hurry, you can take your time to compare. The attitude is very good. I found a fan/hot water/inclusive simple breakfast inclusive of tax on Monkey Forest street for 40,000 INR. Rooms are very distinctive, a bit old and generally clean. Another recommendation for a very paddy field-esque GH is called Hibiscus, down the path in next to Miro's restaurant. I stayed upstairs and the room was huge and very Balinese. Nice bathtub. There is a refrigerator. The room I stayed in also has a loft, which has floor to ceiling windows on three sides, with a view of the rice paddies outside. It's very beautiful. Including breakfast and tax is 150,000, I did not bargain, because I live in this room is really big. There are a lot of similar GHs on this road, you can take your time to compare. Maybe there is a better one. There is another famous GH with paddy field scenery, called Green file, I haven't seen it, I don't know how the environment is. I don't know how the environment is, but I think it's not bad as I read online. But it is said to cost 250,000 and a bit far from the city center.
Lovina: Like Nasa Dua, there are hotels all along the beach. It's basically a five-minute walk to the beach. The price is not expensive, compared to Nasa Dua. The Nikola Nugraha, which is highly regarded by our Taiwanese compatriots, is said to be the best in the region, at 300,000. I've seen a good one called Lovina beach hotel, with air-conditioned/hot water/double rooms at 165,000. The rooms are clean but a bit small. The hotel also has a pool. The one I stayed at was in the center of supposedly Lovia, 60,000 per night fan/cold water/double room inclusive of breakfast and tax.
Yogyakarta: Metro guest house was recommended by someone online and it was ok. Fan/cold water/double room with simple breakfast inclusive of tax is 85,000, air conditioning/hot water/double room is 150,000. there are a few other hotels on that street to compare. Just a bit far from the city center.
Eating: The price is usually 25000-50000. The more famous eating spots are mostly in Ubud. 1) Ubud Palace next to the IBU OKA grilled pork rice must go to eat, very delicious and cheap (20000/30000 a copy), very easy to find, just behind the square next to the palace. 2) Nuri's grilled pork ribs are good (59000), and it is said that on Thursday night there will also be ahi tuna sashimi, tuna steak Tuna Steak and the whole of BALI's best ahi tuna. BALI's best Tuna Satay, but unfortunately the timing wasn't right to get it. It's just a bit far away, so don't walk there, take a car or motorcycle. The location is opposite to NEKE Museum; 3) Dirty Duck Shop (Bebek Bengil) is okay, more expensive, crispy duck a 72,000 half, smoked duck to be ordered in advance, 170,000 a (seems to be the price, anyway, almost the same way). The environment is still good in the main store. You can find it by comparing it to the one circulating on the internet.
Swimming: because I can't swim, so I didn't play any water activities. Go to Lovina to see the dolphins 50000 per person. You can book one person, don't believe what Agent said at least two people, one person to pay more money and so on. You can book directly through the hotel to find a boatman. Yogyakarta: Borobudur ticket is 99000 (11 dollars if you give dollars); Prambanan Temple is 10 dollars. Tickets can be bought through your hotel and are about 10% cheaper. Yogyakarta chartered car is more expensive, about 300000 a day. Local tour can be booked through the hotel for 75000 per person, at least two people. We will leave for Borobudur at 5:00am in the morning (in fact, there is no way to see the sunrise in Borobudur, because Borobudur is very low), and arrive at Prambanan Temple at noon. Prambanan Temple because of the earthquake, are not open to enter, a little regret. If you go to Yogyakarta, it is best to avoid weekends. On weekends, there are many locals who go there. Because of the local people's ticket is very cheap, only 10000, but don't want to be fooled to buy the local people's ticket, the check is very strict. There is also a ballet in the evening at Prambanan Temple, which is said to be very good. Tickets range from 40,000 - 150,000. There are pickups and drop offs which cost 30000 per person and at least two people will come to pick up and drop off.
Finally, I recommend this forum www.yoyobali.com. A Taiwanese website where you can find a lot of useful information. At first, I thought how the Taiwanese compatriots are so rich, many people have gone to Bali several times, but also saw someone went to ten times. Later in Bali met Taiwan girls told me, the original is because Taiwan's hotels are too expensive, sometimes in Taiwan local play is also expensive to go to Bali, so many Taiwanese choose to go to Bali to play.
In fact, there are many ways to play in Bali. Don't hesitate, start traveling now.
