The crime of insult, refers to the use of violence or by other means, blatantly degrading the personality of others, destroying the reputation of others, the circumstances are serious. The sentence for the crime of insult: using violence or other methods to openly insult another person or fabricate facts to slander another person, the circumstances are serious, shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than three years, detention, control or deprivation of political rights.
