Bowl dance is generally a female solo dance with the style of classical dance. Dancers hold double cups with porcelain bowls on their heads. Accompanied by music, they move forward or backward according to the rhythm of cups, which is intended to show the dignified, demure, soft and rigid temperament of Mongolian women. The dance uses the dance vocabulary of "soft hands", "shaking shoulders" and "broken steps" rich in Mongolian dance style to express the elegant and implicit style of the bowl dance. The bowl dance, which is popular among the people in Xing 'an League, is simple and has no strict regular movements.
