China folk songs are generally divided into three categories according to genre: labor songs, folk songs and minor.
"Xintianyou" spread in Shaanxi, Gansu and Ningxia; Flowers are popular in Qinghai, Gansu and Ningxia. Shanxi's "folk songs" are called "mountain climbing tune" in Inner Mongolia, which is a different name for folk songs in different places.
If "Planing Potatoes" is a folk song, it should also belong to "folk songs".
