The original singer of "Two Feet on the Road to Happiness" is Li Shuangjiang.
"Two Feet on Happiness" is the ending theme of the TV series "Our Cow is 100 Years Old" produced by Shanghai Film Studio in 1983.
The TV series tells the story of a production team in rural Shandong that after the joint production contract responsibility system was implemented, the enthusiasm of the members for production increased. However, no contracting team was willing to accept several well-known "problem characters" in the team. Niu Baisui, a member of the brigade branch, took the initiative to form a new contracting group with these five people.
Under the leadership of Bai Sui, this contracting group, which was once looked down upon by others, exerted their own initiative and achieved results. The film won the Best Feature Film Award and the Best Supporting Actress Award (Wang Fuli) at the Seventh Hundred Flowers Film Awards in 1984, and the first prize for the Excellent Film of the Ministry of Culture in 1983.
