Fong June (方俊), originally from Panyu, Guangdong Province, is 5'10" feet (1.77 cm) tall. He studied liberal arts at a junior college in Taiwan, and has worked as a social worker and editor of several film and television magazines. Fong studied singing with Chin Yin and began working as a professional singer in Hong Kong in 1974, specializing in songwriting and lyrics writing, as well as singing on television and guest starring in TV dramas. In 1969, Fong formed a singing duo with the porn star Chow Ling Po as a "couple" and sang at the "Deluxe Nightclub" and the "Oi Kwan Opera House" in Kowloon[1]. After their debut at the "International Night Club" in September 1979, Fong and Zhou Lingbao traveled to the United States and Canada for two months in mid-September, performing English, Cantonese and Mandarin period music, fashion and costume operas [2]. Fong Chun was the basic singer of "Singing Island Chorus". In 1978, he formed the "Flying Dance Troupe" with 4 men and 4 women, and started to perform at the "Jade Palace Nightclub" in Wah Fu Estate, Hong Kong Island, on Thursday, July 13, 1978[3]. "In 1981, Fong performed at the Singing Horse Show and on Singapore Television, and in the same year, he released the local album "Songs of the Forest", and in 1986, he was the emcee and guest of honor for Ms. Wu Yingyin's concert in San Francisco. Fong Chun recorded Mandarin and Cantonese albums for the Hao Shi Records Company in the late 1970s, and one of his songs, "Lorna", was voted the second most popular song by the Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK). Fong was invited by Wong Fuk Ling to sing behind the scenes of the Shaw Brothers' movie "The Snake Prince"[3]. In 1978, he recorded two Cantonese albums "The Back of Laughter" and "Fong Chun's Cantonese Songs" for Sing Tao Music. In 1980, he recorded the Mandarin nostalgia album "Who Can Stop My Love", and in 1981, he sang in the Mandarin album "Songs of the Forest" for Singapur Singles.
