Yanwu Group, formerly known as Yancheng Wireless Power Plant, was established in 1967. In 1980s, enterprises seized the opportunity of reform and opening-up, and quickly developed from a small factory that could only assemble radios into the largest production base of tape recorders in China.
As the first king of China, Yanwu opened the advertising era in China. It is a national brand that has grown up in Yancheng City and even Jiangsu Province, and a model of national brand in China.
However, with the rapid technological changes in the electronics industry, Yanwu failed to keep pace with the times in product development and updating in the early 1990s. 1announced the complete suspension of production at the end of 1996, and suddenly closed down at the end of 2004.
In 20 12, Yancheng Municipal Government authorized Yancheng Economic and Technological Development Zone Management Committee to perform the investor's duties, acquired the brand of "Yanwu" and established Yancheng Yanwu Investment Co., Ltd., which was renamed as Yanwu Group Co., Ltd. in September of that year.
