Which generation’s memory is Jindalei Flower?

Memories of the 1936 generation.

Kim Jungja was born in North Korea in June 1936.

In the vague memories of my childhood, in mid-spring every year, the bright red Jindalai blooms in the wilderness, shining like clouds and dancing wildly in the wind. Coming from a poor family, when she was 3 years old, she immigrated with her parents and a family of seven, settling in Wujiazitun, Huaide County, Jilin Province at that time.

Hunger and poverty were the dark background of Jin Zhenzi’s childhood, but there was also a bright color that warmed her, and that was the care and concern from the villagers.

Having attended elementary school, she became one of the few educated people in the village.

In 1952, Jin Zhenzi, who was educated and organized, moved to Shuangliao County and was elected director of the Korean Village Women's Federation in Shuangliao County.

Four years of experience as a female director has allowed her to grow a lot and accumulate a lot of work experience.

In 1956, Chaosotun Village was relocated to Xianguang Village, Xiboyingzi, Tongliao County. 20-year-old Kim Jung-ja was re-elected as a member of the Women's Committee.

In 1958, Jin Zhenzi joined the Communist Party of China. After that, new things happened one after another in Xianguang Village.
