The first building: Huxi Clock Tower.
Actually, there is a clock tower in both Huxi Campus and A Campus of Chongqing University, but I favor this one in Huxi Campus. Below is a picture I took during the day and at night one spring day. The clock tower is low-key and down-to-earth during the day, and at night it glows like a star in the sky.
In fact, I've wondered countless times if this clock tower is like the one depicted in the Dragons, where a day-drinking bell-ringer lives up there, diligently ringing every bell at every full hour.
This clock tower sits in the densely populated East Plaza, and I pass him every time I eat or something. It's called a landmark because if you find it, you're sure to have a meal!
The second building: the old campus library
Many people recommend the Huxi Library, but I prefer the Republican Library on the old campus.
