The history of the Fuchuan Dragon Frying Festival: Originating during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, it is an annual folk event in Fuchuan Yao Autonomous County, Hezhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, integrating the history, culture, production and life, religious beliefs, and literature of the Fuchuan Yao people. Art and folk handicrafts are integrated into one.
The "Dragon Explosion" in the "Dragon Explosion Festival" has a history of more than 400 years and is the most primitive body dance. At present, it has been included in the fifth batch of Guangxi Intangible Cultural Heritage List. During the "Dragon Explosion" activity, the "Wandering Dragons" of each street will go to the sacred towers in each street to worship every night. After worshiping, the "Wandering Dragons" will meet and dance at Fuchuan County Ethnic Culture Square.
During the New Year period in Fuchuan Yao Autonomous County, Hezhou, Guangxi, there is a special and rare folk phenomenon called "exploding dragon" from the 10th to the 15th day of the first lunar month.
