The plot of the dance "Laundry Dance" is like this: a group of Tibetan girls who went to the river to carry water met a PLA cook who came to the river to wash clothes for his comrades. They used a "tiger away from the mountain" strategy, tricked the cook to wash a large pot of clothes, with a pleased and joyful mood, singing and stepping, the clothes washed clean. When the cook came back, he realized in a flash that the good deed he wanted to do had been done on behalf of the Tibetan compatriots. At this point, the cook was again in a hurry, he quietly picked up all the buckets of water of the Tibetan girls, for them to send home. The dance ends in a very vivid and lively scene in which the cook carries the buckets of water and runs ahead; the girls take the washed clothes and chase after them in a hurry. This dance is novel in material, profound in intention, simple in structure, vivid in performance, and has a strong flavor of life and the characteristics of Tibetan song and dance art. So since its creation to date more than 20 years, the long performance, by the people's welcome.
