Mayang Li Lan Square Dance Competition

A river is full of spring water, and the temple is full of thousands of years.

-Travel Notes of Man Ancestral Temple in Li Lan Town, Mayang.

Man's Ancestral Hall is located in Li Lan Town, Mayang County, about 0/4km away from the county seat/kloc-0. The ancestral temple was built in the thirty-three years of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty, with a history of nearly 400 years. During the light years of the Qing dynasty, villagers restored it to commemorate the recommendation of Manchu, a famous Ming minister. Because of disrepair and floods, it has been repaired three times since then. Mayang County, as a cultural relic protection unit in Hunan Province, is a scenic spot with considerable tourism value.

Now the main purpose of Manchu ancestral temple is to commemorate Manchu recommendation, so it is also called Manchu ancestral temple, and Manchu recommended academy. The theory of cherishing the academy has existed in name only. On the other side, the sound of reading came from Langli Primary School on the side of the partition wall from time to time. You can still recall the educational scenery of Manchu ancestral hall as a home school.

The stone railings on both sides of the entrance steps are engraved with poems recommended by Manchu. Unfortunately, the washing of the years is not very clear.

Manchu recommended Zeng Guan to worship Xi 'an Xianning County and promote Taibu Temple to Zhengqing. He is an honest official, detests evil as hatred, is honest and won the support of the masses. Gong is good at being honest and witty. His story is widely circulated in Hunan and Shaanxi, and it is the "Liu" and "two generations of love" in the hearts of the people of Mayang Miao Township.

In the main hall of the temple, there are full-body colored sculptures recommended by Manchu, and cultural relics such as official uniforms, boots, boards, promotion documents and daily necessities are placed on both sides of the showcase. There are stories on the walls on both sides that introduce the life story of Man Chaojian. It is quite ornamental and readable.

The whole ancestral temple is a relatively open quadrangle, spacious, transparent and bright. You have to go under the stage to get into the gate. This kind of entertainment facilities for sacrificial ceremonies is probably the standard of every ancestral temple, right?

The stage is not very exquisite, but it can be described as rough compared with the flower theater I saw in Bozhou the year before last. But the amplification shed built on it, the general stage is rare. You can still see creativity in simplicity, but not simplicity.

On the right side of the wing on both sides of the ancestral hall, there is a hand-painted folk painting exhibition of "18 eccentrics of Mayang". The brand of Chaojian Academy is idle among them. It is not difficult to find a nail to hang, just hang it on the wings that introduce folk customs! Neglect of maintenance management can be seen.

The left wing is the origin and inheritance of Manchu surname, and it is the introduction of celebrities of Manchu family in past dynasties. The ancestors of Manchu surnames can be traced back to ancient Shun Di times. It can be seen that Manchu surnames are quite old in China surnames.

There are two Panlong stone pillars about 4 meters high in front of the Manchu Statue Museum. It's not necessarily beautiful, but it's rare for the whole stone pillar to be carved into one piece.

The names of the two masons and the date of completion of carving are engraved on the bottom of the stone pillar and above Sumitomo. This is equivalent to calligraphy and painting, right? Enough to accompany the work through the ages.

We now advocate craftsmanship and quality manufacturing in society. In fact, in addition to material processing, I am afraid that craftsmen are also eager to get a kind of recognition of craftsmanship. There is no doubt that masons are allowed to leave their names, and they did a good job in this respect when they built the Manchu Temple.

Apart from the stone pillars, I think the biggest attraction of the whole ancestral temple building is the gatehouse at the main entrance. The whole wall is tall, majestic and elegant. The stone relief on the wall is more exquisite and lifelike. In particular, a pair of Kirin on both sides of the gate is more vivid and has a strong three-dimensional sense. Vivid image and strong three-dimensional sense. It's impressive.

Mangong Temple is next to Chenxi, and the entrance is opposite to the ferry in Li Lan Town. Residents on both sides of the strait come and go in an endless stream. However, the civil servant spirit of the Manchu people, such as being honest with officials, being enemies with evil, being honest and upright, being cautious and independent, and being honest and able to speak (recommended by the Ming Dynasty to the Manchu Dynasty), will surely have a long history with Chen Shui and be passed down from generation to generation to inspire future generations.
