Senbonzakura had already been popular in Japan for a few weeks by the time it reached the Chinese market; words like fresh, epic, ****ing glorious, cherry blossom, and pure could pretty much be synonymous with the song exclusively, and in China the song would have been featured at almost every major comic book convention, and almost everyone was talking about it, especially in the latter part of September 2011 to the latter three years of this golden period when the song was a hit all over the world. It wasn't until early May 2015 that the song faded into the background ......
The song won 25th place in the "100 Best Japanese Songs to Praise the World" awards, and its popularity peaked when it was broadcast on TV Tokyo.
