1, "The Desert of Passion" is the earliest original singer of the Japanese twin duo ザ-ピ_ナッツ(ThePeanuts), in 1973, lyrics by Luv Yamayama, music by Kako_Kunihiko. The name of the original version is 情热の砂漠. The Chinese version was first from Fifi Ouyang.
2. ThePeanuts consists of the twin Ito sisters, EmiItō (伊藤エミ,ItōEmi), and YumiItō (伊藤ユミ,ItōYumi). Their original names were ItōHideyo (伊藤日出代), ItōHideyo (伊藤日出代), and ItōTsukiko (伊藤月子), and they were born on April 1, 1941, in Tsunoyama City, Aichi, Japan. Shortly after their birth, their family moved to Nagoya.
3. The Peanuts made their debut in 1959 with the release of their first covers album. Once the album was released, they became the biggest group in Japan, appearing on the HSK New Year's Eve Red and White Song Contest for sixteen consecutive years. At the beginning of their career, they mainly sang covers of Japanese folk songs and foreign hits. Next, they started singing their own new songs. Then they entered the movie industry, most notably in the 1960s with Mothra vs. Godzilla, and they stopped acting in 1975.
