The New Year's Eve activity starts with a complete classic Peking Opera "Red Mane and Strong Horses" in Guangdong Hall. Near 11:00, the main stage of Gulou Square takes over the baton and brings the second wave of the New Year's climax. The main stage performances featured Peking Opera and Folk Music with professional troupes and audience in attendance.
