2019 Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park Summer Travel Guide

Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park is a joyful ocean-themed amusement park filled with a variety of rare wild marine animals and animal performances. There are many exciting entertainment projects to satisfy you. To enjoy the exciting summer life, I will share with you detailed strategies below.

After watching the extreme challenge, I became curious about this park again.

The large floor-to-ceiling windows in the park are really cool, and they are definitely not inferior to many aquariums! I went to a certain hotel in Hangzhou before and was really disappointed. This time I went to Haichang in early July and I wanted to go again! One day was not enough.

Ticket price:

The adult ticket seems to be 360 ??during the holidays. The poster is a student. The ticket price of 159 is a good deal, especially if you have just graduated from college. Hurry up and get your student ID to get another discount. .

You can download Haichang’s official app first, where you can see the park map, make guides and performance schedules in advance

As soon as the park opens, you can cross the Qiulian River and go to the seabed across the bridge. World Pavilion! In order to take pictures of the unmanned underwater tunnel, we went all the way to the Volcano Whale Shark Pavilion, Dolphin Theater, Coral Jellyfish Pavilion, and watched all the performances. We missed the peak at noon, after 12:30.

We ate at the Antarctic Penguin Pavilion, which was close to The museums are all very beautiful! Iceberg and Arctic Pavilion, Killer Whale Theater and Sea Beast Exploration Museum.

If there are many people, you will have to wait in line for more than an hour for the roller coaster, time cable car, deep sea voyage, and volcano rafting. Unlike Disney where you can grab fast passes, you can only spend 60 yuan per item here.

We went volcano rafting. No matter you buy a poncho or not, your lower body will get wet. You must wear sandals if you want to go rafting. You can also bring a change of clothes, mainly pants. My husband wears running shoes. All are included. Water, flip-flops over there are 60 yuan a pair

You can store bags in the park, and send a 20-inch box for 40 yuan a day

Don’t think about playing all the performances and rides in one day. We picked the place we wanted to go to the most in advance. It takes more than 2 hours from our home to Haichang, so we stayed at a nearby B&B one day in advance!

This way we can have the energy to have fun the next day. It’s worth waiting for the door to open at 9 o’clock. I recommend it to everyone, especially student groups and parent-child tours.

The park is divided into five areas:

Mermaid Bay (Dolphin Roller Coaster) Polar Town (Antarctic Penguin Pavilion, Sea Beast Exploration Pavilion, Walrus Theater) Undersea Wonderland (Underwater World Pavilion, Volcano Whale Shark Museum) Ocean Tribe (Ocean Tribe, Coral Jellyfish Museum, Dolphin Discovery Lake) Ice and Snow Kingdom (Iceberg Arctic Pavilion, Killer Whale Theater)

The north and south areas are connected by the Antarctic Bridge and the Arctic Bridge, and you can also take the cable car Round trip, here comes the key point. Next, I will teach you how to get around Haichang Park quickly and effortlessly

The park opens at 9 o'clock in the morning. If you can get up early, try to arrange to enter the park at 9 o'clock, and then go straight to the underwater world. At that time, there were very few tourists, and you could take pictures of the deserted underwater tunnel. The completely transparent tunnel was so beautiful.

Babies who don’t want to get up early can refer to my itinerary and have fun without queuing. Let’s talk about the morning session first and the afternoon session guide

10:00-11:00

Enter the park at 10 o'clock. After entering the park, go to the nearby Antarctic Penguin Pavilion. The museum has the world's first Super Penguin Bowl. There are many polar penguins, which are super cute.

11:00-11:30

In the Iceberg Arctic Pavilion, there are polar bears. You can watch them eat fish. It’s so cute! There are also beluga whales, Arctic wolves, and Arctic foxes. , very worth watching

11:30-12:30

Departure to the Orca Theater at 11:30. There will be a Orca science show at 12 o'clock. If you go early, you can sit in the middle. If you want to have close contact with killer whales, you can sit in the first 5 rows, but remember to wear a raincoat or bring an umbrella, otherwise you will get wet all over.

12:30-13:00

Take the Time and Space Cable Car directly to the Volcano Whale Shark Museum, but there are usually many people and you have to queue up.

My choice is Walking across the Antarctic Bridge to the Dolphin Theater, stopping and walking, only takes about 15 minutes. I think it will be more fun than the cable car.

13:00-13:20

The Dolphin Theater is indoors. Find a seat when you arrive and watch the dolphin show at 1pm.

The whole show is very special It is wonderful, with a huge water curtain. The dolphins are very friendly and they complete many difficult actions with the keepers. It is very enjoyable to watch.

13:20-14:00

My stomach was growling after the performance. I happened to have a meal at Burger King next to me and it was a great meal.

14:00-14:20

After eating, we happened to catch up with the float parade at 2pm. Just stand on the roadside and you can see the entire float parade coming from you. When you walk by, there will be interactions, which is very interesting and worth watching.

14:20-15:20

Then you can go to the Volcano Whale Shark Museum. There are all kinds of giant fish inside. You can take a leisurely stroll inside. We will meet at 3 p.m. The mermaid fairy tale performance is very beautiful.

15:20-16:20

Then there is the Underwater World Pavilion. There is an undersea glass tunnel in the pavilion, where you can see colorful fish. At 3:45 pm, there is water dancing. The fish show, the mermaid swimming on the bottom of the sea, surrounded by fish, is very shocking.

16:20-17:20

The performances worth watching have basically been checked in, and the next time arrangement is relatively free - I returned to the Volcano Whale Shark Museum and took the ride Voyages of the Sea feels like a low-end version of Pirates of the Caribbean. You need to wear 3D glasses to watch it. It has a storyline and the overall feeling is pretty good. I queued for about 40 minutes to play this project. It was also the only project I queued up to play all day long. .

17:20-18:00

On the return trip, I chose to take the Time and Space Cable Car from the Volcano Whale Shark Museum to the Iceberg Arctic Museum. At this time, there is no need to queue for the cable car, so you can go wherever you want. Sit down,

After arriving, go to the super-sensing 4D theater located in the Iceberg Arctic Pavilion to watch the movie "Polar Quest". It feels great.

18:00-18:40

After the end, go directly to the dome theater in the Antarctic Penguin Pavilion to watch the movie "Sea of ??Time and Space". It lasts 15 minutes. It is a dome theater. You can I sat on the ground and looked at the sky, promising me that I must go and watch it. It was very shocking.

After coming out of the Antarctic Penguin Hall, you can quickly browse the surrounding Sea Beast Exploration Hall and Walrus Theater. The walruses and sea lions are also super cute.

18:40-19:00

Be sure to make good use of the last 20 minutes before the park closes, because most of the tourists have already left by this time, and many large projects that require queuing have already You can play wherever you go.

I ran directly to the Dolphin roller coaster that I had been dreaming about all day. I had to wait for 2 hours in the morning, but now it only takes 5 minutes. It is so exciting, the speed is super fast, the whole journey is 72 seconds, and the feeling of weightlessness is very strong. It is more than addictive. I finished the ride I found that there was no one in line behind me, so I sat down again.
