As of January 12, 2023, the Old Ladies of the Pretty Sunset Dance Team are still around and still practice their dances every day. This group of old ladies danced their way into the CCTV Spring Festival Gala with their novelty and witty shadow play.
Pretty Sunset is a dance based on the Tangshan shadow art rehearsed by retired workers of the Tangshan Old Cadre Activity Center.
