Expanded Information"Returning from Target Shooting" is a military song composed by Wang Yongquan and Niu Baoyuan with lyrics by Wang Yongquan, and later sung by Yan Weiwen.
The song was composed by musician Wang Yongquan in 1960 while he was in the army. The circumstances of its birth are also interesting. At that time, Wang Yongquan was preparing to compose a song for an all-army cultural performance, and he happened to catch a glimpse of a four-stanza poem written by Niu Baoyuan, and was inspired to adapt the poem and compose the music. It has become a widely sung military song.
