"Remembering comrades-in-arms" is an episode of the movie "Visitors on the Iceberg". Lei Zhenbang, the songwriter, immediately came to Xinjiang to experience life after receiving the task of composing music for the film. In order to collect folk songs sung by ethnic minority fighters, he ignored his personal safety and went to several outposts on the Karakorum Mountain, including several alpine outposts at an altitude of more than 4,000 meters.
At one of the posts, he heard the accent of a Tajik soldier. Lei Zhenbang was moved by the love story in the Tajik folk song Gulibita, and then a picture flashed in his mind: on the iceberg, the third squad leader froze to death in his post at the border post, still holding his steel gun.
