600 words of Xi’an Travel Notes
On the first day of the Lunar New Year in 2012, my mother and I arrived in Xi’an. It was called Chang'an in ancient times and is one of the famous historical and cultural cities in China. It is the first of the seven ancient capitals in China. More than ten dynasties, including Zhou and Qin, have established their capitals here. My mother told me that this city has a history of more than a thousand years!
The plane my mother and I took finally landed at Xianyang Airport. I looked out the window and shouted, "Wow, the runway is full of snow!" We got on the bus to Xi'an. , after an hour's journey, we finally arrived at the Central Plaza in the city center of Xi'an, and then excitedly checked into the "Super 8" hotel with our suitcases in tow.
We went to the Drum Tower that afternoon. The most eye-catching thing there is the "Wentian Drum". The diameter of the drum is 2.83 meters, which is as high as two people. The drum tower was built in 1380. I also went to the bell tower, where there is a big bell. The bell tower was built in 1384. We watched the Joyful Drums and Chime Show. We went to Huimin Street for dinner again. There were a lot of snacks there, including mutton steamed buns and beef and mutton skewers... That night we went to the city wall to watch the lantern show together. I watched the dragon dance and laser dance there. There are lights from five continents, colorful. There are also many puppets from TV in the lantern festival, which is so fun.
The next day, we followed the tour bus to the Banpo Museum, which introduced the life scenes of Banpo people. Then we went to Lishan, where Chiang Zhongzheng once lived. There is also Huaqing Pool on Lishan Mountain, where Li Longji and Yang Yuhuan bathed. I heard that the water there was drinkable, so I went to taste it and it was salty. In the afternoon we visited the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, where I saw neat rows of terracotta warriors and horses, but many of them were broken and only some were in good condition. What a pity! I also watched Loop Movie inside.
On the third day, we went to Han Yangling. There is the tomb of Emperor Jing of the Han Dynasty. There are 81 tunnels around the tomb, and each tunnel represents a department of the country. We also went to Maoling, which is the tomb of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty. I saw a big stone with two holes on the mountain. I took a coin and threw it into it. I heard that this can protect myself. There is a disease-removing stone on the mountain. I heard from the tour guide that Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty stepped on it. As long as we step on it, our studies will progress and our work will be better. We finally went to Famen Temple. Famen Temple was half rotten before, but now it is magnificent. The main purpose of going inside is to visit the relics of Lord Buddha Sakyamuni.
On the fourth day we went to the History Museum, where there are cultural relics from the Qin, Han, Tang and other dynasties. We also went to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Small Wild Goose Pagoda. I saw the beautiful musical fountain in the Big Wild Goose Pagoda Square.
Four days passed quickly, and we reluctantly ended our trip to Xi'an. Xi'an is so fun, I love Xi'an!
500-word National Day travel essay: 550-word National Day travelogue to Xi'an
During the National Day, staying at home is really boring, so why not go on a trip to visit scenic spots and broaden your horizons? Woolen cloth. After some discussion between my parents, they finally decided to visit the beautiful and ancient city of Xi'an. When I heard about Xi'an, my heart was as excited as if it was on fire. You must know that Xi'an is one of the four mountains in the civilized world - Huashan. Can this make me not excited?
On the way, I started to feel very excited. I really wanted to see Xi'an as soon as possible, but when I arrived in Xi'an, the sun was already kissing the Western Mountains and waving goodbye to us. It’s better to find a place to stay first and recuperate the next day before going to tourist attractions.
Early in the morning the next day, when the sky was still bright, we got in the car and went to Huashan Mountain. When we got to the foot of the mountain, we looked up and saw that it was really majestic and thrilling. Half of Huashan Mountain was now wrapped in clouds and mist. Sitting there like a great immortal wearing white immortal clothes. It only takes a few minutes to take the cable car to the cable car area from the foot of the mountain. When you look down from the cable car, you will break out in a cold sweat. The cliff with a height of dozens of feet rises from the ground. It is so spectacular. When you reach the middle of the mountain, you have to walk by yourself. On the mountain, the air is very fresh. Looking around, it feels like you are in a dream, which is extremely magical. There is only one road leading to higher places, which also proves the old saying - there has been only one road in Huashan since ancient times. On this road, I saw many strange-shaped rocks and wonderful scenery. However, this road became more and more dangerous and farther and farther. We got discouraged one after another halfway through and admired the wonderful scenery everywhere. After wandering around for a whole morning, I reluctantly said goodbye to this famous mountain.
On the third day, Famen Temple was a feast for my eyes again. First of all, the first thing that caught my eye when I entered the door was the magnificent hall. When I walked inside, I was even more amazed. Every time I walked, I was amazed. Two Bodhisattva statues will come into my eyes on the road. Each of the Bodhisattva statues is lifelike, as if they are alive. Due to time constraints, we did not enter the main hall, but I can still imagine the magnificent appearance of the main hall.
Farewell to Famen Temple and the beautiful and ancient city of Xi'an. It's time for us to go home. On the way home, my excitement still couldn't calm down for a long time.
