1. Introduction to the film:
Young Ben just graduated from college. Although his parents are busy preparing a lively family party to celebrate him, Ben himself is at a loss about his future life.
At his graduation party, Mrs Robinson, one of the guests, took a keen interest in the young man and asked Ben to drive her home. Under the constant teasing and increasingly boring life of this romantic lady, Ben soon started dating Mrs. Robinson, and thus met his wife's beautiful daughter Elaine. Elaine's purity and kindness made Ben deeply moved and fell in love with each other. Although Ben finally found the opportunity to express his love to Elaine, his previous absurd behavior was forgiven by Elaine. However, their relationship was soon strongly opposed by Mrs. Robinson, and Elaine finally guessed the special relationship between mother and Ben.
Sad, she hastily chose a boy she didn't like to marry. After learning the news, Ben ran to the church in desperation. Can his efforts stop this unpleasant wedding? And can they break through the secular resistance and get true love?
Comments: Directed by mike nichols, this film has become an eye-catching work in youth films with a blockbuster gesture.
1967, the emergence of "new Hollywood movies" changed the monopoly system of big factories for many years, and more movies close to real life and young people's thoughts and feelings appeared, which gradually changed Hollywood movies from pure escapism to realistic works of art. In this film revolution, dustin hoffman's famous work The Graduate is an important masterpiece. It is about graduates.
