After the founding of New China, Guo Fushan first went to the Provincial Song and Dance Drama Theater as a conductor, and then transferred to the Provincial Federation of Literature as a song editor. 1958, Guo Fushan in a newspaper at the time, saw the officer of the Henan Provincial Federation of Literature, Zhong Tingrun, the ballad "Weaving Baskets", which at once stirred Guo's creative inspiration, only two hours for the nursery rhymes composed the music. 1959, the Beijing "Songs" half-monthly 3rd premiere of "Weaving Baskets. In 1960, the Central People's Broadcasting Station (CPB) premiered the song "Basket of Flowers", which was rearranged and interpreted by singer Yu Shuqin in 1986, and became popular throughout the country.
In 1988, Guo Fushan heard the song "Weaving Flower Baskets" again around Zhengzhou's Erqi Square, and the melody didn't change, but the lyrics were tampered with. The original lyrics, which read "Weaving, weaving, weaving flower baskets, weaving flower baskets up to Nanshan Mountain, where there is a field of cotton that blooms like peonies," were changed to ...... The original lyrics were "weave, weave, weave a flower basket, weave a flower basket to the south mountain, the south mountain is full of red peonies ......", but they were changed to "weave, weave, weave a flower basket, weave a flower basket to the south mountain, the south mountain is full of red peonies ......", with no author of the lyrics and music, and they were also titled as "folk song The song has no lyricist and has been named "folk song". It is the popular Henan folk song "Weaving Flower Baskets" that we all know today.
