"Towards Revival" was created by the Propaganda Department of the Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee and the Shenzhen Radio and Television Group*** with the same organization. The song was written by Yin Qing and lyricist Li Weifu in 2009.
"Towards Revival" was selected as the finale of the third music and dance epic of New China, "The Road to Revival". And the song also became the finale of the orchestra performance in the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the National Day. The song was sung in its entirety by a chorus of 2,500 students from Beijing's universities and colleges, and on September 25th, 2012, it was awarded the 12th Spiritual Civilization Construction "Five One Project" Award.
