Three Steps

In the mid-eighties, as the whole society became more and more popular, a school dance called "Three Steps" became popular in schools in Hubei. Later, with the popularity of community dance, among a group of laid-off workers and unemployed young intellectuals, the "three-step" was further developed. Their names were: Pu Bilin, Zhu Liping, Zhang Ye, Chen Yi, Tan Lianguang, Hou Yanling, Jiang Li, Yu Qingyuan, and so on, and their reputation spread far and wide, known as the "Eight Masters". In their short life experience, they have had longing, disappointment, pain and joy, and they show their personality and express their feelings through the form of dance.
