Yangzhuang Town is located in the southeast of Tengzhou City, 19.6 kilometers from the city seat. The town is 18.2 kilometers long from north to south and 10.5 kilometers wide from east to west, with an area of 112.54 square kilometers. Jurisdiction of 88 administrative villages, a community, with a total population of 76,500 people.
Yangzhuang since the Zhou Dynasty, successively belonged to the state, the small state, Changxu County (ruled by today's Tucheng Village). After the Sui dynasty abolished Changxu and set up Teng County, it began to belong to Teng. In 1956, the northern part of the dingshan township from the sangcun district, the southern part of the Wanghe township to the official bridge district jurisdiction, Tengxian two districts renamed Yangzhuang district. 1958 June, renamed the east red commune. 1959 renamed Yangzhuang commune in 1959, the establishment of Yangzhuang district in 1966, the withdrawal of the district to restore the commune in 1969. 1984 March called Yangzhuang township in the same year in November, called Yangzhuang township.
Yangzhuang Township is rich in historical and cultural heritage. Today there are 11 ancient tomb sites, 30 temples, 16 sites (things), 7 places of interest. Township government courtyard of a 400-year-old ginkgo tree, is a relic of the Ming Dynasty Shanxi Guild Hall. Nantang Village in the town is the first headquarters of the Sulu People's Anti-Japanese Volunteer Corps at the beginning of the Anti-Japanese War.
