Brief introduction of Linfen ancient city park

Linfen Ancient City Park is the first open park in Linfen City, Shanxi Province. The theme of park construction is "ancient city", which is adapted to local conditions. The key point is to reshape the style of Linfen ancient city, show people Linfen's long history and culture, build a historical and cultural brand belonging to Linfen city, and establish the image of Linfen as a "cultural ancient city". Linfen Ancient City Park is located in the middle of Dongbinhe District, Linfen City. The project is constructed in two phases with a total area of 65,438+09.6 hectares. Linfen Ancient City Park integrates ancient city wall protection, wetland protection and ecological greening. The main contents of the construction include natural water surface, curved bridge, small sculpture, veranda, pavilion, imitation of small ancient buildings in Ming Dynasty, etc. It is a comprehensive park integrating sightseeing, entertainment, leisure and fitness, which plays an important role in the sustainable development of the city and the optimization of the ecological environment. The first phase of the project is the west section of Zhongjie, with a construction scale of 9.5 hectares and an estimated total investment of 810.07 million yuan. Construction started in May 2009 and was completed in September 2065, 438+00. This part mainly includes underground sunshade project, artificial lake and greening project and supporting facilities. The second phase of the project is the east section of Zhongjie, which started in May 20 12 and was completed in June of that year 1 1. The second phase of the project focuses on the protection and restoration of the ancient city ruins, with a V-shaped layout around the northwest corner of the ancient city wall, including drainage works, city wall restoration works, moat works, and ancient residential protection works. After the completion, it has formed the main landscapes such as the majestic appearance of the ancient city, the ancient city courtyard, inspirational sculpture, the lying cow tablet pavilion and the memorial of the site. Among them, the encouragement square and passageway in the park are surrounded by 557 stone lion sculptures, and the park with the largest number of stone lions has set a Guinness World Record.
