Anyone applying for grades 3-5 of the major must apply for Grade 1 of the Basic Music Section and must have taken Grade 1 of the Sound Fundamentals before applying for Grade 5 of the major; for grades 6-9, they must apply for Grade 2 of the Basic Music Section and must have taken Grade 2 of the Sound Fundamentals before applying for Grade 9 of the major; candidates for the recitation program are not required to apply for this examination. Professional Grade 10 may not take Sound Fundamentals Level 3 for 2018 for the time being.
Third, the application object and requirements:
1. No restriction on nationality, children and adults can apply for the examination.
The result of the evaluation is divided into two levels: "pass" and "fail"; those who do not pass will not be issued a certificate or graded.
